  1. You have to mod. The YFZ shock is shapped different, it has a resi attachment built outward. You have to make room for it! Just shave it a bit. Take close look at my pic above. Also had to shave the shock bottom. I smoothed it out good with the grinder. Some say they're too stiff & bike sits high.. I don't think that's the case with extended A Arms. Shocks were set hard. I was running my Banshee thru rocky trails & rolled right over everything really smooth. I was impressed by the performance! I'm going to Dumont this weekend & I'll see how they do.

  3. I figured the mod was possible, just decided to do it the right way.
  4. Thanks for the link, Get at Chase here on BHQ, he makes any decal you want!
  5. I talked to Debbie @ Toomey this friday & said the same. But I have seen Banshee's with T6's & motor mods here on the BHQ.

  7. Yeah, do you have a link? Definately give's your Shee a better loook Think they'd sitt better on black plastic!
  8. I'll give you some good +'s on this for doing fabrication. Can't knock it even if there's things I don't like about this bike. But you did something different here & I myself appreciate that.
  9. Thanks all for the input. Yamahammer, what's the status with yours? Got pix? I think we're doing it right & have doubts because they look different. Check out this pic from Quicksand: http://www.quicksandmotorsports.com/large/12.jpg Loooks like my setup doesn't it? I'm riding tomorrow & I'll see how I like em' including the yfz shock upgrade thing. P.s. I'm not using any tools, just eyeballing it. I took her out to the pavement today & the alignment was pretty good. It didn't pull or steer away when I'd let go of the bars, the bike kept rolling straight.
  10. I called alba found out the don't provide those screens for the Toomey pipes. After a year of searching for a deal on the Toomey spark arrestors I said fuk it because i found none. I bought me a new set & now I can ride anywhere no worries. They don't look as bad as I thought it would. They look like cool exhaust tips.
  11. I removed the the e brake also and ride the same terrains as everyone in here. dirt, gravel, sand etc.... You don't nee the e brake. It's how you drive it, park it in a position where it won't roll off and in a position where you can jump on it & go.
  12. I tried calling Gary @ QS but he's on vacation.. I looked at that chromed suspension Banshee on your thread and it doesn't look right. All the Banshee's on Quicksand's gallery have the bend facing fwd vs. rear. I think my setup is good based on my research. I thought more rider's here would be running on these a arms?? Thanks for the help..
  13. You can also go with the ceramic coating, look just like chrome & last even longer.
  14. Hey, anything is possible but don't know if that's tru.
  15. I got ahold of a TRX peg set, they're wider than Banshee pegs. I'm going to try & mod up some kick ups by chopping up the TRX pegs.
  16. I spoke with Debbie @ Tommey yesterday, said the same. T6's are only for stock banshees.
  17. Cuervo is some nasty shit, he's getting the pickle paying that price for anything Cuervo related. Patron is expensive but well worth it & since I see many taking their drink very serious here.. I recommend it to all of you. Just ask for a shot next time at the bar!
  18. Cool, post some pix of your finished product. Let us know how ya like em!
  19. I ordered some stuff from a dot com last Thursday. I paid for a 2 day flight service, I just got it tonight. UPS said shit happens in the mail. Maybe the plane ran outa gas or so!! But now I'm working on my bike in the dark. Anyhow, this is not the first time & I'm sure your package is on the way.
  20. Hey Bansh-eman, Can you tell us about Motion Pro? What results can we expect from that product? Thanks.
  21. I had that ASV C5 Series post going a while back. This is what I think.. I supposed the call it the unbreakable because they have this swivell that allows the lever to fold the opposite way. It comes with a lifetime warranty but 25 bux get's you a refurbished one on the bay. The lever is not as smooth as it used to be but it wasn't a major difference from stock now that I remember it. Maybe I need a new clutch cable. In this picture you can see all the play left on the cable though i tried to adjust it & make it tight. Now look at the cable when I pull the lever. It's rubbing & keeps from moving smooth. I lubed a bit but didn't help. The MSR Raptor Shorty is better than this. My bro has it & reccomend over ASV. The MSR let's you position your cable in 3 locations so you won't have this rub problem. Being that it's a shorty, you only need one or two fingers to pull the lever. It's real soft & smooth + by using two fingers, keeps the rest of your hand on the grip vs the ASV where you have to open more of your hand... less controll of the bars. Hope this helps.
  22. Anybody tried Patron Tequila? That's the best stuff! Clean alcohol, no hangovers! Smoothest buzzzzzz!!!!!!!
  23. This would work for me untill I get those IMS Pegs. I've seen some of you already doubled up the pegs, Maybe I'll go that route if i run into another stock pair!
  24. Glamis recently re opened. They won't close it yes those accidents in that same place always happen. Good footage, make people like me jealous  Did i see a lowered Tahoe on 20's in there? What's up with the choppers hanging out???
