  1. Hey there smartazz! I would have done the same thing with you, but I'm not sure if your old azz would have the ball....z to Man-Up & strap on!!!
  2. . Sorry I suck with the camera; I thought I had more. I have 4 different clips, but they got cut off before anything happen. I think we are going to keep it the sand the rest of the year. I had so much fun and plan on flat dragging it also.
  3. This was our first time on the sand with our asphalt quad. We chose to hill shoot it @ Glamis on Oldsmobile Hill. 1st test run, I about went over the handle bars and my feet were pretty much straight in the air. The guys I was with called me superman and I did stay on the bike. I must thank Angel he did a good job of racing the quad. We only had to up the jetting 10 sizes and add a little weight to the lock-up arms. In the afternoon I got on & tried to race 3 different quads and they all declined. It definately wasn't because of my hill riding abilities, but the great job Angel did earlier in the day! Bryan http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/BL...nt=100_0533.flv
  4. I'm pretty impressed with Kevin's work and I can see he's making good power. Now let us here the real story on the 1/4 mile! What was the ET on your run. MPH is a great indication on the HP your making, but ET is in the hand of the owner/tuner. Our 7mm has run 123 mph in the 1/4 on race gas and we posted the ET to go along with it. Now how about posting the rest of the story!
  5. OK trouble maker, you are confined to the Tonka Toys in the sand box for the day.
  6. We took your statement as joking around. Both Duecebanshees & Tedder know how I feel about Jockeys. My son & I built the quad and for damn sure we are the ones that race it. We both go 220 lbs race ready with a heavy quad. Yes, it would be neat to stick your 115 lb ass on it, but that goes against what we are all about. Now boys, the old man (Tedder) has spoken. LOL!!!
  7. Jeff/FAST is one of two places that I can consistently get on the phone when I call. The slight chance they don't answer. I get a prompt return call, I've had many that don't return the call. Their customer service is the best and these other small/big name shops need to follow the example being set!!!
  8. Here's our family owned old reliable slowcamaro.
  9. We will be going 2-4 Jan. It will be pretty interesting, this will be our first time on sand. Our quad is set-up for the asphalt. http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/BL...0/012Medium.jpg
  10. The only nutswingers are you & BigRed350x. Looks like everyone gave you two a nice cup of "Shut The Fuck UP". Thanks FAST for going the extra mile for your customers/friends. Bryan
  11. I cannot stress enough when running the 1/4 mile. You need to have 14-15 degrees of positive caster built into the A-arms. I would also recommend it for the 1/8 mile as added safety measure. Bryan
  12. NYUK, Tedder didn't improve on their 10.07 run, but put down a bunch of 10 teens. We worked on and improved our 1/8 mile set-up/times. I mainly bumped the thread up to help the new guy from Alaska. It would be great to have you hit the asphalt again and show us how it's done! Bryan
  13. Sorry to say Tedder or I didn't make the 9's or the 5's, but came close!
  14. If you want to do this right PM me. We have been running 1/4 mile for 4 years with over 600+ runs. Our best time is 10.23 @ 123 mph. I'm retired Air Force and I will not steer you wrong. Bryan
  15. The IHRA VP of Race Operations has selected 2 ATVs to make 1/4 mile exhibition runs. The runs are scheduled at the IHRA Fall Nationals in Rockingham, NC. Oct. 17 &18. We are scheduled to run in between Pro Stock & Pro Mod, so it should get some good exposure. Bryan
  16. Most of are racing is bracket also, but we also go heads up. I'm making a trip in Oct., back East. We will run heads up exhibition runs at the IHRA Fall Nationals in Rockingham, NC. Then head down to Albany, GA. for the Wicked Weekend event for more heads up action. I've lost 11 lbs already and will be down another 10-15 lbs. I'm sure I'll be 40-50 lbs. over of the hired Jockey's.
  17. I understand the light Jockey's, but I will not watch someone else ride my quad. We built it and we will ride it. My son weighs 200 lbs. + and I weighed 220 + lbs. dressed out when I went 10.23 in the 1/4 mile. I'm sure ours would be faster with a small jockey, but it will not happen on our quad. Bryan
  18. I went thru the same questions on my low 10 second quad. I took the air shifter/CO2 bottle off and still handed everyone their ass.
  19. No, it was built for the Banshee.
  20. We don't use the stadard lock-up, it's a multi-stage. It also took us 3-4 years to master it, somewhat!
  21. Clutch management is one of the keys.
  22. Thanks NYUK! We both have a lot of time testing and sharing information on our set-ups. I'll see if I can load one of the time slips. #261
  23. I'm predicting they run a 9.94 by the end of the year.
  24. I hope the video link works. Tedder & his son run a 10.07 1/4 mile on a stock stroke cub with no power adder. http://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r143/BL...nt=100_1358.flv
