  1. I use the stock or upp chain guides and a upp chain slide up front
  2. IMO that guide is very impartant I would put one on Thats my .02
  3. Sounds dumb but make sure the wire caps are not loose if you can turn them freely you should replace them. Had this happen to someone :thumbsup:

If you guys would like pics send me your e-mail I can not post pics here or in pms Not sure on the bore and I went and miced the pistons they mesured 64.25 mm bruce sass at vickery yamaha ported these They are a mild port factory crank trued welded shipped depending on price if you dont beat me up on the fair price Ill ship for free :thumbsup:
  8. I have a set of Ported stock cylinders with pistons. They where on my girls bike and have very little time on them. They will come with pistons, bearings, wristpins and the rings. You will need new c-clips for them. The porting is mx/woods and works ok for duning. They where set up with a 2-1 carb fmf fatty with 18cc domes and would pull the front up in 5th. they have a wicked mid hit. I will take $250.00 obo If you were to buy the cylinders I would recomend a welded crank and I happen to have one of those. It is in good shape and ready to run Ill take $150.00 OBO CYLINDERS $250.00 OBO TRUED & WELDED CRANK $150.00 OBO thanks for lookin
  9. I think he is right on but if you plan to get porting in the future the I woul keep those carbs but if porting is not in the nere future then I would get smaller carbs IMO

  12. Rippin you are always wecome to come down to my place and put your plastics on my bikes. I have purple and orange also You could always paint your plastics if you dont like anything and I would be more than willing to help you out as long as you buy supplys :thumbsup:

  14. That is ported by Tom @ Mountain Performance it is an awsome hill porting and that bike beat alot of bikes up the small hill we have at walden. But the same bikes I would kill up the hill would kill me on the flats great hill shooting motor tons of low end.

  16. The new yfz's are sweet but so are the trx it is almost apples to oranges. the yfz's make IMO way more power. If you are buying new the seat on the yfz is 10 times beter than the 04-05. the trx haddles great way better ride and awsome duner. Dont get cheap with the honda and git the one with the kicker it sucks to kick foward IMO. Betwen the guy next door and me we have 9 bikes and have rode just about everyone. We have a trx 450 and 2 yfz"s 04-06 I have a lot of seat time on these quads and if you have question fell free to ask.

IMO all the money youre spending on your motor putting it in a stock frame would be a waste. the stock frame is ment to put 35 rwhp to the ground and works well up to about 80rwhp after that your swing arm gets to long and you cant put the power to the ground Tyson Racing will do you an +8 forward with stering stem arms spendals and swinger for right around $2800. Or you can find one used for a great price. Also a drag frame will shave the weight we have one that has a wet weight (ready to race ) of 255 lbs you wont get that out of the stock frame.
