  7. welcome to the club, thats why they have the tors unit. i think it has more to do with the stock carbs. I switched to pwk's to eliminate the wot sticking.

  10. I have tried everything on this subject including ruining a clutch basket gear by jamming shit inbetween the gears. Dont do that. Either go to yamaha and get the tool or make your own out of old clutch plates. I made mine with three fibers and three steel drilled through and bolted together. Works great. Ill send you mine for $20 shipped or ill send you some old plates to make your own for $7 shipped. Also, get yourself a torque wrench. Its the only way to get it right. I have tried the air ratchet to get it. It only gets it to about 40 ft lbs before the whole thing spins.
  11. Yeah, theres something off. Why did you raise the floats? THey should be at 21-22 mm when upside down from the carb ledge to the top of the float. Or read your repair manual on float adjustment. I had the same problem with my one carb. It turned out to be a bad needle jet and seat. I had the moose carb repair kits and the one was just bad. Just make sure everything in the carb is in place. Theres not much to a carb so good luck!!!

  13. the pwk's are keihins. they use a completely different set of mains and pilots than the mikunis. I dont know what main to recommend since i havent installed my pwk 28s on my shee but my blaster is at 55 pilost, 162 mains with a pwk 28. get an assortment of mains and pilots so you can just play around. denniskirk.com is the cheapest for the high quality mains and pilots. or vitosperformance.com is good priced too.
  14. Good Deal, i just picked one up last month for 175 bucks with a title, just needed a top end. So far, it got a new chain, a 28pwk, new cables, new levers. And soon it will have hydralic disk brakes.......
  15. ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have it at 55 pilot and 2nd clip from the bottom but it still seems off.
  16. Its called TIRE IRONS. Get some good ones with good handles. Also, a cheapo bead breaker(or set your car on it). Once you get the hang of it, its about 5 mins to dismount and remount. You will need a good air compressor to seat them and about 40-50 lbs of pressure to seat them. Also, a bottle of soapy water helps seat the bead(spray it down)

  18. chest protectors are great. i never ride without one. i have crashed so hard that the rivet in the shoulder part indented a scar in my arm. also, i hit a bigass tree branch in the woods that tore me off my yz250 at about 40mph. it cracked the chest protector and my arm was sore but it saved me from breaking something. i have one now that has an alien on it, i think its ufo. its nice and i barely know im wearing it.
  19. where should i start jetting a 28 pwk on a stock blaster. Fresh top end, .25 over, 150lbs compression cold. the only things im doing to it is a pod filter and a new silencer. i am thinking 50 pilot and 162 main to start. any comment, please post.
  20. that seems rich on the pilot and lean on the main. i ordered a variety so i have 45-52 pilots and 142-172 mains. i was thinking 48 pilots and 160 mains but ill try the 52 and 152.
  21. i am installing 28 pwks and am trying to find a new cable. i have one that will work but its old. and the new ones have the fittings for the tors. what cable am i supposed to buy?

I sell shit on ebay all the time, shipping is not a problem, i take(steal) boxes from work and the post office picks up right from my house. which place is the best to part it, ebay or hq? also, back to the first question, do it whole, semi part it, or every nut and bolt part it?
