  1. come on, everybody says get pwk's over pj's,but why???
  2. why pwk's over pj's?
  3. what did you do with the yellow white and/or the black white wires ...all you did initially was what? -just hook yellow white at cdi to black white at the cdi together (what tors wires did you mess with?)...it rev's fine now just backfires (can you tell if its both sides or just 1?) might want to change the plugs
  4. remove the green yellow wire & don't let it touch any ground (,unless u want your p-brake switch hooked to it then find harness or run a new wire to it & it will ground it's self w/ the brake on)... I don't remember what the black wire is for that you hooked the green to... might want to look into that later?, more than likely it's just a ground
  5. green / yellow on cdi is parking brake wire it limits the rev if it's grounded via the p-brake sw. or another ground look at the 2nd vid in general lee's no go post below & see if that's what it sounds like
  6. maybe i read all this wrong but, if your adding a completely separate valve you'll double your flow; if u put 1 to each carb; so it will do what sheerider intended to do (more flow for cheep)
  7. I heard that, the LSX shoot out is next weekend, at bradenton
  8. If you can turn left you are going to slow... anybody else there/going tomorrow... got the taxi all cleaned up!
  9. How did it ohm out?
  10. most meeters say O L open lead?? when the leads aren' t touching each other, test the meeter 1st also- touch the leads together & make sure it goes to "0" =no resistance (it would suck it your meeter wires were bad LOL; & it's pretty common)
  11. set your meeter on ohms & put 1 lead on a good ground & the other on the green w/ yellow wire & the meeter shouldn't change (same as if the meeter leads aren't touching anything) ie. open, not touching, not shorted to ground...
  12. it still could be shorted out internally u need to use a meeter!
  13. not technically, but you can see if the green / yellow wire is shorted to ground
  14. is the 1 wire(left off) green w/ yellow stripe? you still need to ohm it it might be shorted out internally
  15. all right not gonna b much help... as said above when the green w/ yellow stripe is grounded the cdi tells the ignition to cut out (2002 & up )... ohm the green w/yellow to ground & if ok (open, not showing any continuity ;sp), do u still have your old cdi, swap that back (why did you change out your cdi & stator in the 1st place?)I wouldn't swap out your stator.
  16. you just have the wrong year stuff not a big problem, just have to figure out how to bypass it... what yr is ur shee, what yr is ur stator & what yr is ur cdi I forgot all about looking at mine... I'll go out now & look for ya
  17. Repair the p-brake yet... if not i'll try to remember to look at my '04 tonight
  18. How was the switch bypassed ...thats EXACTLY what it sounds like when the switch is engauged
  19. sure sounds like p-brake revlimiter
  20. I have been, I know it's the age old question but... just thought I'd throw it out there to get more info...
  21. 7 years...I can't complain, been trying to blow it up for years I wouldn't mind if this turned into a use / don't use ... for porting, pm me if you don't want to publicly bash... any info good or bad will only help me decide
  22. 1 ride before this now to decide who to do the port work
