  5. First thing is compression and elevation
  6. You can't compare a 70-90 HP to a bolt on stock bore banshee, no matter what the compression is. As far as current compression the fact that it has new pistons in a stock bore & 19 domes seems odd to me, could be squish due to dome or gasket mismatch?   7. If wall clearance looks good & it runs OK send it , unless you just want more . which I assume you do , or you wouldn't have wanted to change dome sizes
  8. When you adj. Idol with screw, does it change rpm?, a lot adj. Idol with cable so screw. might be backed off so it's not hindering cable idol adj.?... Edit: Timing I'd check comp. And compare to elevation. most don't run more than 5 ( stock)

  15. Yeah i'm lapping it this time , just didn't know if the locktite would effect the bite ... He's not buying a new flywheel, already told me that so, we'll see
  16. Not if it was in good shape but it's not it's not on a banshee and hopefully i'll only need to pull it off if it spins again and it'll be loose at that point. Put red on it w/o lapping it or knowing it' history & it spun again...4 poke backfire
  17. Threads are fine, just taper areas. Didn't know if 64040 would help or hurt on taper
  18. When you lap a questionable crank/flywheel, do you use Loctite afterwards for insurance, or doesn't help ?

  20. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread already in progress... So, is it as cast or did your builder send those gaskets with it after port job?
  21. ^This Line up tops, not bottoms 110 vs 115 rod? 121 is stock iirc
  22. I'd assume the old top end was different set up than current & he did a shotty job re assembling current... Now you have to decide how to go back together with it . but you'll have to find out what the 2 are , what's on the rods for #'s
  23. Do you have a way to measure the old cylinders & compare it to current cylinders . assuming the spare cylinders you said you had, are from the old pistons you are using in comparison... Did he give you an old crank?
