  1. Yes you will want to install your swaybar, and scale out your bike, start in a neutral position and go from there. For ties go look at the track see what the expert/pros run and get those, If its a clay surface your probably want to go with a crossblock hoosier of if your on a budget the Tri-trac hoosier will last much longer. If its a Loose dirt (cushion) track you probably want to look at a nobbie such as the hoosier MX tire or Holeshot, Turf tamer something along those lines.
  2. Just curious if any of you flattrackers are going... I will be flying in to race a 3 wheeler, and would also be intrested in barrowing a shee and Racing a quad too. I dont know what class i would run, depends on the comfort i have on a bike if i get one. Anyone going??
  3. Well i havent read the whole thread... but ill give my 2 cents... I havent ran any large ice tracks... but for 1/4 on dirt, im running 16 40 and i was tapped 6th down the straight, right before apex to pitch it sideways slightly and scrub some speed. then straighten, No shifting, Never left off the gas.
  4. I would find a new builder!!! all bikes are different but 140 seems WAY too lean IMO
  5. What he said ^ One of my shee's is at 49.5" the other is 48" I actually like the narrower bike better. Dont worry about the rear right away. If you have the opportunity definitly get it but i run my bikes narrow in the rear, and like the handling much better. than it being as wide as the front.
  6. Picked up the Red framed shee several months ago. That one is a 4 mill, with 4 stroke like power. other than that both are seutp very simular.
  7. with throttle cable and intakes?
  8. Yes, nether of my bikes have lowering on the front just some decent shocks. the rear dogbone part i think is 7" hole to hold. when i sit on it, it drops alot. that is what it looks like with nobody on it With me on it.
  9. If your having trouble with traction, lower the rear and keep the front higher. The rear of my bike sits MUCH lower than the front.
  10. pics/ are they chrome or bare?
  11. 15. I have an old Motosport outlet catalog that has a huge chart in it. i personally run 16-38 or 16-41 depending on the track
  16. I by no means would consider myself an expert on ice. Just show you what worked for me, But then again, it was my first time out and things went really good. So eather im dam luicky at the setup or im dam good rider. each way, Im here to help people out, Show and tell everyone what has worked for me to try and get more banshees out racing and winning. Here is my front setup
  17. they are a bit dusty from sitting on the shelf for 4ish years, the chrome is good and no dents
  18. Since Hoosier has 2 different compounds they have a SUPER soft compound that i use for cushion tracks, or mx, The hard compound Hoosier Duromoters 3 points harder than turf tamers, Thats what i compared these too to even determine if they would work for the ice.
  19. What condition are the ptr's in?? i have 2 sets of toomys, one set are a decent chrome the others are a high temp gray. Depending on your finish we can work something out.
  20. I woudnt run a cheng shin tire EVER for anything Ill let this do my talking.
  21. Ill see if i still have both tops, i know i got 1 Top a-arm
  22. I would really love a single pipe with an upper end powerband, I am intrested in this for one simple reason Racing flattrack we are crouched down on the left side of the bike. I run the PTR pipes because they are tucked up in the front area of the bike leaving alot of room in the back for my knee. This would eliminate the leeg burning aspect of the banshee. But if they cant match the ptr pipes wiht a 2into1 its not worth looking at.
  23. Come on guys, Rember 2ed grade A cheetah is a large cat, and its the fastest cat in the world, can run at something like 70 mph. A CUB can be several things, A baby cat (weather its a small house cat or a tiger), or baby bear.
