i looked on the modquad website and the ones on the site are idential to the one i have i just want to know what the ones i have now got (the modquad ones) are like does anybody have the modquad intakes are they any good?
-
i contacted the ebay seller about these and he says he buys them from modquad.com does any body else have them from modquad and do you know where the boss intakes come from?

EBAY LINK i brought these off ebay i actually dont think this are boss intakes, i am just going off picture i have seen on here when i posted a topic when i was still looking at them there are curves on the boss ones that mine just dont seem to have. also the description says that they have a half reed spacer so i though seen as though im alreadyy running reed spacers it wouldnt put my carbies back any furhter back but they did . they pushed everything that far back that i had to cut my back plastic to fit the overflow tank on . thay moved they air box back that far that i had to make up new brackets to bolt the air box down. also the bolts supplied to mount the rubber boots were about half inch to long and they only supplied 2 gaskets. other then that they are on and look good plastic cut :verymad: old reed spacer against new one to show size difference :: ::

boss intake i have these ready to put on my shee. i brought them because my standard intakes started to splitt . i was just wondering if u guys put any thing inbetween the aluminium part with the cross over built in and the rubber boots . when i recieved mine the rubber boots where not attached to the aluminium part . so i have to screw them on my self. i just want a good seal with no air leaks what do you guys do?

strange things do happen i have read i few post on here about different items some say they fit perfect some say they dont fit. (bumpers especially). i wasnt having a go at you mate. just giving a 2nd opinion. also were they 2nd hand when you brought them?

I have got got a set of them and had no problems at all they fitted like a glove. if you have that much trouble mounting them maybe your frame is twisted

i just order a new set of ohlins front shocks for my banshee piggy back with preload adjustment compression and rebound adjust and was wondering if the overall width of these will be about the same as stock because my a arms are plus 2 up 1 and the standard shocks are fairly close to the back of the top arm about 20mm away im guessing the should be about the same width because on stock arms the shocks are fairly close to the arms anyways i cant wait to geet the tock shocks are so soft on plus 2 arms it bottoms on small jumps
