  1. That doesn't look like any nology banshee coil I have seen. It looks like a stock coil with a blue sticker on it.
  2. 80 lumens per watt. http://www.visionxoffroad.com/led/s1100/
  3. I know how to do it, and I still would like to gather as much info as possible. The only way to get good is to do it, and learn as much about it as possible. Wouldn't hurt anyone, wether they port or not to watch it.
  4. HAlf way down page 1. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...t=0&start=0
  5. I dont know if I would trust that rm guy. It may be high energy, or it may just be a stock type replacement.
  6. What needle is in it? Dont come back and tell me its stock please.
  7. You can maybe use the "U" bracket that comes with the lights in the stock location even though the mounts are gone.
  8. Flatten down the step into a ramp in the roof of the intake.
  9. Did you put the new stator on because you had a problem and needed a new stator to fix it? Or did you put it on just to increase the wattage for the lights?
  10. You need to take valve grinding compound and lap the flywheel to the crankshaft. Clean it all off, then loctite the nut on and hammer it down to the torque spec or use a gun on it.
  11. Slide: 2.5 Needle: 5L1 2nd from top Pilot jet: 30 Main jet: around 380-390 Float height: 22mm Nozzle: 175 (P4) Air screw: 2-2.5 turns out Needle seat: 2.5 Number 37 is the nozzle. The main jet screws into it.
  12. We live in Bonney Lake. He is not going to want and do that. He probably wont even really want to give you the specs either now. I think he would much rather have you do his cylinders for cash he could spend.
  13. How is it rude, if he stated he had proof of it, then I asked to see it? The dyno sheet would prove he had either a big bore turning 12k-13k, or a small bore turning 14K. Although not impossible, but highly unlikely without some seriously expensive and smart work, then some good parts. He spouted off, that if you weren't turning the kind of rpm's he was turning, then you had something setup wrong with your bike. I say BS, I ride with plenty of fast drag bikes that dont turn those kind of rpm's. I find it highly unlikely that there is a strong majority of drag bikes out there turning those rpm's on drag passes.
  14. This is a copy and paste of a pm I got from Koolguyson: "I hope you can understand, but my bike right now currently holds the ET record for my 775 and under class. I can't post up my dyno sheets. Part of racing is that you can't let the other guys know what you have. Especially 3 weeks before the big race."
  15. Dan definitely likes to mess with me when we go over stuff. He makes me think about the answers, he doesn't just give them up when I am over there. Out of most guys I know he is one of the cheapest. He will charge $250 for a dune port on a stock stroke motor.
  16. Backcountry is Dan Wade from Patriot Racing. He lives about a mile from me and taught me how to port banshees.
  17. Are you sure you know what over rev is? Fall=Down. If your drag racing, mis-time a shift and the power falls out of the effective range, well thats when you need torque backup. If you miss a shift and go over your shift point, then your in over rev. I know every motor has it, and it can be extenede out to even SLIGHTLY higher rpm's than 11k-11.5k! I just dont believe the numbers your claiming upwards of 12.5K-14K rpm. You said you got proof, lets see it. Cause I got lots of it too, and I already posted some dyno sheets for some RDZ drag bikes on the first page.
  18. Every bike can be different?
  19. I third the domes idea.
  20. Is there any difference between them and the stock intakes? Does the smaller 28mm boot setups have the same size i.d. boot as stock, or is it slightly larger? I run mikuni tm 28mm carbs, and they actually have a smaller outer diameter on the neck than stock carbs do.
  21. I am thinking that over rev is going to have to be classified as usable power range, which its still not at the rpm's he is trying to justify. I cant think of anyone thats building a twin cylinder banshee motor thats actually pulling 14k rpm in a mx race, drag race, or play bike. I ride with Patriot Racing, twister, Rooster, Trinity, ILR, Redline, and RSR bikes. I even ride with some of the owners of those companies themselves.
