  1. This and the chrome peeling off around the rear carrier bolt clamp piece. I figure if I strip it down, go back over all the remaining welds and powdercoat it, I should be good from here on out. I am not exactly sky high jumpingh my bike, but that swingarm gets fairly abused.
  2. As far as I can tell everything is ok. It was lightened also.
  3. Oh my! Mine comes off, its just loose on the hub.
  4. Well its applied eletro-magnetically. So I think as long as the stainless will conduct, the powder will stick.
  5. I heard a noise under my flywheel cover yesterday. Pulled it off and the rivets that mount the flywheel bell to the end cap are loose. It is a ricky stator flywheel. Anyone else seen this?
  6. I am gonna have the chrome sandblasted off, then I am gonna re-weld all the welds over and have it powdercoated. I want to know if powdercoat can be applied to stainless.
  7. So, I was jumping last weekend and the old Podos racing +6 swingarm broke. I went into town and had it welded up with stainless and fixed it, but need to know rteplace some broken, scratched and bent components on the bike. As well as have the swingarm refinished. Anyone know if powdercoat will stick to stainless steel? Another pic link Squat Stance Link!
  8. Now I have a new billet water pump impeller on ebay also. Ebay items Link
  9. I would say 88-90hp absolute max on a crank dyno. K&T does build wicked stuff, but I just donts see enough displacement to make those kind of numbers consistently. I do know we recently crank dyno tested a 6mm, 460cc, resleeved, and torque ported cheetah motor with pro circuit pipes and saw 92 hp. It made 87hp with ptr mids. This is all speculation, but I bet that K&T bike is really fast. Look at it this way, the superior sleeve 10mm+ stroked motors back in the mid 90's made 110hp on the dyno. You get to a certain point with a stock cylinder (470cc-510cc I think) and you just cant move enough air and fuel through them to make a ton of hp. Thats why we saw the introduction of the 4-6 different aftermarket cylinder setups that are now available.
  10. crank dyno or dynojet? What size is the bore?
  11. Give it more main jet, if it doesn't get better drop it back down some. If still not better, richen up the needle.
  12. The pipe increases midrange and maintains mid-high rpm easier. It revs to 9k rpm.
  13. I have a set of TM no leak billet pipe collars on ebay. Snopczynski Racing Auction Link
  14. Fot the setup you are listing to go to. The 2 into 1 should make a snappier throttle and slightly increase bottom end. I am going to be doing a sise by side comparison this weekend. We took a ported 350 with ptr mids and stock carbs, ran it last weekend. We bolted on a 2 into 1 intake and a pwk 35mm carb and we are going to run it next weekend at the dunes again.
  15. Yeah, sounds like something is wrong, thats to low for that elevation.
  16. Im speechless!
  17. choke crossover tube still on?
  18. Hello?????? compression is directly affected by elevation. So what is your elevation?
  19. work ok without pipes and carbs. Whats your elevation?
  20. Yeah, I know a couple guys with ported 350 light switch bikes that put on reed spacers. I just shake my head at them. Morons!
  21. Dave said on a motor with a bigger air/fuel charge it will create more velocity and help emulsify the charge before it enters the cylinder. It does take away from the top end hp a little, maybe thats why none of your drag buddies are using them. It sounded like you had to sacrifice top end for midrange from the results Dave had on the dyno. Most of the stuff we build is torque and midrange power based, so This stuff applies more to play riding and mx racing. Those dyno charts I posted already proved you can get a midrange gain from the spacers. On a stock bore and stroke motor, its not enough gain to warrant using them for the hit you take on the top end though.
  22. They do, the 4 mill stock cylinder and the 460cc 6mm cheetah motor guys I ride with run em. We just had the 6mm 460cc motor on the crank dyno. Dyno Dave said the reed spacers made a decent sized increase in midrange. All in all that bike got re-sleeved before the dyno and ported for torque. It put out 92hp with pro circuits, and 87 hp with the ptr midrange pipes. Not bad for a bike with a 2 into 1 intake and a 38mm lectron on it.
  23. I know a guy with this oregon scientific cam, and he seems to like it alot. Camera Link I only had the tony hawk one though.
  24. You guys need to use google. Tony Hawk Helmet Cam Link
