ok, so I would think he could figure this out. Basically you probably have 795m pistons, then he had to machine your domes 2mm. You can't just take a 20cc dome and cut it, the piston sits higher in it, so realistically it makes it about a 16cc dome if you just cut the 2mm recess. My motor guy usually just buys 16mm domes, cuts the 2 mm recess, then reshapes the entire area of the dome that's left to make it the proper cc size. So then you can get the proper compression and squish.
some years are different. Most of its difference in cdi and stator plugs. Then there is e-brake switches, and brake light stuff for some of the newer stuff. basically though 87-94 is the same, then there is 95, then finally 96-2007 (current).
at 190 psi, I would be running at least straight 108-112 race gas. Something here is not right though. does this bike have a spacer plate or what? How did they setup the stroker crank. There is no way it should have 190 psi with a 20cc dome.
It wont take away the hit, that is something the porting and pipes are responsible for. I have had my hands on ABOUT 10-15 PWK'S AND I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE ACTUAL "PWK" stamped into the side of one.
MRD made a mechanical water pump driven setup for drag bikes back in the early 90's. It was a two fuel mode setup with a low and high speed fuel circuit. They are the only ones I have ever seen stable info on.
Firehead, what was the deal with the mr. gasket cap and the fullbores a while back? someone posted a pic of it, then you still asked for pictures of it to be posted.
Those bulbs are too bright for that setup. Max wattage to light up from that rs 200w stator can run is about 125w. Also, I would recommend an rs voltage regulator.
Only other thing it could be is a bad stock voltage regulator. You can unplug it and not rev it past 6k rpm. If the bulbs are brighter, its a bad regulator. I am betting on too much watts though. I had a 150w when I first installed mine and had to downgrade the bulbs to 125w. The only time it was bright with 150w bulbs in it was at full rpm.
Ideally pj's are easier to tune on the twin setups. Single carb wise they do some really weird stuff and are harder to tune. Sheerider, how bout you pull the slide out and tell us if it is shaped like a rectangle with rounded edges, or shaped like a "D".
Its either not a pwk carb, or its not a 34mm carb. If it is a 34mm pwk its a 33mm bored out. So, I suspect its a PJ, if thats the case it is going to be a bastard to tune it.
In ideal situations, with perfect cases, perfect cylinders, and a perfect head you dont need anything on the gaskets. Sometimes people have their cases welded and they dont seal up 100%, etc.....! Thats when you need to use a sealer on them.
I have had my puller for about 2 years now. I figured out two things to make it last a long time. First is always keep the threads clean and lubricated. Second, dont let my cousin borrow it, use it, or even touch it when I am trying to take off a flywheel.
34mm pwk? I thought they only came in 28, 33, 35,36, 38 AS, 39, and the 41 pro series?
EEK or EEJ needle, start in the center position. 185 main and work your way down. 45-48 pilot with 1.5 turns out on the air screw.
basically you do it and you start over from scratch with no guns and your a rank 1. You level back up from 1-55 10x in prestige mode and then your done. You dont get anything, you just down for the prestige or recognition. Your rank icons will look different everytime you go through it.
Im a 55 now. I have been actually getting pretty good with the barret .50 cal. Dont use the ACOG scope, its junk. Im not going to do prestige either. I like having all my guns.
yeah, I am up to a 53 now. So I have been going through and doing all the marksman requirements on all my guns. The mp44 and the G3 is a piece of shit though. One gun I actually enjoy alot is the m14. Its semi automatic and has unbeatable stopping power with increased bullet damage. Anyone play shipment on domination yet? All I can say is holy snikeys! Bansh are you playing on the 360?
I have a hard time hitting stuff with the barret .50 cal? Anyone have any pointers?
with forged wiseco pistons I do this:
2 idle heat cycles.
1 more low rpm drive cycle arund the neighborhood.
Then I ride it like it is stolen at the dunes. Just stay off the very peak rpm, dont do anything extended past 2-3 seconds at high rpm either.
