wacko2000 replied to atvaddiction's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Nice bike man, IF you havent sold it yet, It might be easier to part it rather than selling as a whole.. good luck though -
I like that blue... what type of paint did you use? How well do you think the white is going to hold up... over all it looks pretty good, nice billet carrier..

Can you give us an update on whats left if anything at all -
I had mine done my works, they changed the spring and all.. looks real nice, I havent ridden the bike yet, Ill give you a update in about a week.. I think it was around $300 or soo, Dont know if that good or not but it like a brand new shock... http://www.worksperformance.com/html/home.html

I dont think buying a new frame would be necessary.. This happens alot, that is a very weak part or a banshee frame.. You will be able to bend it back, many def people have done it many different ways just take your time.. Whiel your at it you should have some gussets welded in there to make it strong again after you bend it back... Do a search here and gussets and bending the steering loop.. there are tons of threads on it.. people have used come-alongs jacks muscle, just do a search..... good luck

wacko2000 replied to wacko2000's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
I think we are getting a crew to go to coal hill, I think like dec 9th or something... Ill be there as long as my shee is ready by then -
Well Its nice to have lots of jets.. Lets say you start with 350 and it feels good, and then you drop to 340 and it feels better drop to 330 just for trial and error, might get better might not.. I have every size jet for stock carbs from 350 down. pilot 25-27.5-30 3 sets of needles... Its nice to have all the jets that you need, they are cheap enough... good luck..

whats up guys I know that I'm in the wrong place considering this is not a shee.. But its my BROTHERS bike and he just doesn;t have the time to ride anymore.. Very sad to let it go!! My brother has rebuilt this bike from the ground up with only the best.. I have to say this bike is sick fast with tons of torque.... It really is amazing...Here goes: 88 honda trx 250r.. The bike is registered and I believe he has the title... The Frame is stock, it has been sand-blasted and powercoated honda red.. This bike has never been raced or abused in anyway..The engine has approx 15-20hrs on it.. MOTOR: The engine has been done by CT Racing 72mm bore stock stroke rev porting wiseco pistons CT 310 pro cross head stock crank FMF reeds/cages and intake manifold hinson spacer 39mm carb stock airbox LRD 3 piece adjustable pipe/oval body silencer runs on 114 octane hinson billet proof clutch-basket plates and springs RK 520 chain 13/38 gearing FRONT SUSPENSION: LSR +2 +1 w/ aluminum tie rods and stock spindles works triple rate performance LSR chrome steering stem W/ antivibration steering clamp PEP steering stabilizer LSR billet aluminum steering clamp REAR: LSR +2 round housing swinger RPM dominator chromoly +4/ super twin row billet aluminum LSR billet aluminum hubs Works rear shock Also have three sets of tires.. Full front and rear holeshots 95% tread on red label rims... Front and rear sand skates II used maybe 3 times..Front and rear bandits 75% ..... Full bore plastics with custom cascade red/white and blue seat cover IMS 3.6 gallon w/ billet aluminum gas cap Duncan racing bumpers Full chasis Baja skid plates There is still much more including lots of chrome and polished parts..There really is way to much to list.. Any questions feel free to either pm me or email me [email protected] I am trying to get the pictures posted Photobucket is given me a hard time so you can email me for pics if you do not see them here.....The pictures that i have posted really do no justice for the bike bc it is dirty but that is all i had on my computer..SORRY My brother has receipts for absolutly everything.. He has over 18,000 invested. If you come to see the bike he will show you all the receipts for yourself. He also has alot of stock parts like another exhaust, acouple sets of hub, another head and cylinder- carbs....etc..... I believe it needs a rear disc and caliper... $6000 obo...NO trades!!! Do you guys think it would be worth to part out?

night and day man.. bike looks sweet, Those plastics gotta do though...
-
hows the grab bar.. any dents, scratches or bends.....
-
Yo0o bansheee where in new york are you from?
-
Hey whats up man.. I had similiar mods on my shee before the rebuild except for the +4 timing I think your main is to small. I had a 310 main stock pilot.. needle in the middle.. Try changing the positon on the needle.. put it back to the middle... Also I believe changing the timing, you are suppose to rejet, larger main..

Yea im from Staten island.. where do you ride, you have any good places, I dont mind driving.. LIsten to MJ and get all #8 bolts for the suspension, they are stronger.. I got my bolt kit from some1 on ebay, its good.... Im getting my motor back on fri-sat, cant wait to ride my shee....
-
Nice car man.. The nova is my fathers favorite car.. He always talks about getting one to make a project out of when he retires in acouple of years.. Good luck, everything looks sweet....
-
I havent had a prob with them yet... Mike is a real nice guy, any prob you have he will take care of.. First when I spoke to him he made me go through my box and make sure I had everything that i was going to need.. I needed new dust caps and some other stuff, and het got it shipped right out, then there was alittle mix up with the tie-rods that they sent me and he took care of that prob as well.... When you start your install or setup, if you have any problems you can call him and he will walk or talk you through it.... which a-arms did you order?
-
Holy shit thats hilarious... Twisted but funny....lol
-
Yea def a nice find.. Thats one bad machine...
-
Yoo whats up Zach. Was wondering if you got the flywheel off yet? if so how do you do it? did you feel a difference.. Im going to be ordering one as well..Might have to borrow that puller... I have an impact if you want to use it... Did you get those a-arms yet?

Yea this site is awesome.. So many good guys and gals here.. On that note, does anyone have a sync tool that I could borrow for alittle? Is it worth to borrow or should I splurge for the one that Jeff sells? Im pretty new around here, I have done some business with a few people,Im a good guy no worries.. thanks
-
Well my build took me awhile bc of work.. I was working some crazy crazy overtime.. The build really shouldnt take that much time at all...Everything goes back together pretty quick.. what type of riding do you do and what are you looking to get out of it?
-
Good luck with the rebuild.Im just finishing up mine, it went pretty goood.. make sure you change all the bearings and seals... While you have it stripped you should get some gussets put in some of those weak spots on the banshee frames...What year is that shee? and yes you have a A-arms frame...
-
Whats up man.. There was just a thread on this maybe a week or two ago... search for it, alot of people posted pics.. Here are some pics of mine though, I dont remeber how it was done, my father cut them for me, I think he used a PVC hand saw or something.. They came out awesome though...
