  2. I believe that there are 4 bolts total holding the tank on, but a common problem would be if you steering loop is bent toward the tank it would make it a bitch to get out..I had the same prob.. How big is the space between the front of the tank and the steering loop up top?

  5. Something isnt right here, If 1.6 is beating his boys on there 450's you should be as well.. You have some slight porting and bigger carbs which he does not.. Even though shee was just rebuilt you should still check the compression, make sure everything is okay in there.. get ouy there and race em with your new mods and keep us posted, I have ridden both stock and a slightly modded 450's, you should be there with them if not ahead...
  6. pm sent. front shocks swingarm front brakelines all from my 2000
  7. One thing thats causes alot of stress and headache, there is a tube that connects the two carbs together, its about 3-4 inches long, If that isnt connected it will make the bike rin like shit, alot of people forget to put that back on after working on there carbs,Im guilty of it myself.... Get yourself a cylmer manual on the shee very important to have... good luck and welcome to the HQ

  9. So having the air screw out to far allowing to much air will cause it to bog or break up alittle.. I think maybe I should start with some small adjusting of the air screw.. I will start at .5 out and work from there. thanks
  10. making it richer or leaner.. Is the 30 pilot to fat for me? how does the air screw affect the bike? whether it .5 or 2 turns out?
  11. Can you be more specific.. I dont really understand that.. " If you had all that work done and didnt change anything"? Before i sent my motor out it was completlel stock, stock bore with T5's and v-force reeds 310 main 25pilot needle in the middle.. Now 350 main 30pilot needle in the middle 2 turns on the air screw
  12. My buddy has a stock 450r.. I dont know much about that HRC kit, but that must give that 450r some serious boost, Im surprised with yout mods that you are nable to catch up something is wrong here..
  13. Yea me 2, during my build I ordered lots of stuff from them..That would be nice getting like $100 or so back.
  14. Dyno jet needles have 6 positon rather than five correct? I have 3or 4 sets of needles trying to figure out which are which.. Im looking to do the same thing get alittle more, I have my stockers in right now...
  15. Thats what I was thinking, Im goin to order some 27.5 from the local stealership tom, I am using stock needles, but I have 2-3 different sets.. I was told that passion motor like alot of fuel..

  20. I had wheels spacers on my old shee for the netire time I owned it.. I was quit impressed witht them, I wasnt easy on them at all, I beat the piss out of it jumping and all, never a problem and yes It will help the handling a great deal.... Would I use them If I was constantly jumping... NO
  21. I love seein the older guys still riding banshee's.. My cousin that I ride with, he is 40 he also has a banshee and he rides harder and crazier then most people that i ride with and there all half is age and weight.... And he's 260lbs.. Im 22 from New York..

  23. Heading out to Coal hill this weekend on Sat.. Ill be wit Zach and MJ from the site.. I have a Black Nissan Titan, I will be with a pretty decent size group.. Anyone heading out there let me know. Or if you see me there come say whats up.. My name is Joey and will be riding the bike in my sign, FIRST RIDE ON FRESH MOTOR...
  24. Man that thing is going to Rip.. How much does that motor weight about? o0o yea and good luck
  25. Looks nice man good job.. I see that you are ready to put the strap on the rear grab bar.. From my experience and this is just my 2cents.. when strapping the bike down, keep the strap low, one strap pulls one way and the other strap the opposite way... stays nice and secure... when you strap from the front bumper and grab bar straight down, there is still play, meaning it will still roll back and forth alittle... good luck though and nice bike...
