hmmm I am having the same trouble.. but I wont push start it cause I got my paddles on.. It does not seem like I am getting any fuel to the plugs at all! I took apart the carbs, cleaned them and sprayed them out with air.. When I use the compressors air attatchment and blow it through the carb, fuel comes out of the air jet and not the needle jet. Is this just a bad way to test or are my settings off? is my air screw too far out?? And what will switching the bowls do??

ok its getting close. Let's see where everyone is going to be and what to look for.

ok I think I got it. I found that the jugs must have smacked into each other when they were either inthe shop or when in transport. They both had the lip raised up on the inside where they meet. I will try them out tomorrow hopefully thatis it!

I'm curious. I would think that if they milled it should be perfect? I'll try the sand paper to see what I get! Thanks I'll get back to you guys.

what is the best way to do that? I matched it up to the other head and it looks ok?

well when they mill it isnt that the same? I have another head I guess I could try.. ??

the water fitting? again I dont think thats where it is coming from.. is there a greater chance of leakage when the head is milled

i dont think that is it.. I looked at it leaking and it looked like it was from the left side.. the thing is I did not start it up or even crank it. so there was no extra pressure.. warped head?? I did detonate a piston with this head... what is the best way to check that? place it on something flat I would imagine right?? lol but I got it milled after the piston meltdown..

yeah gasket was the right way.. when I torqe it do I tighten each nut all the way or is it a little at a time?

I have a new gasket and the head and jugs are clean.. It leaks from the middle in between the jugs.. anyone got a solution or had the same problem?? Thanks in advance..

I agree.. gear case is a lengthy job but definately doable by the 19th.. just make sure you have the right gasket bond.. take your time, set up a BIG area to spread out. It took me about a full day or so to do it. but dont rush! Im down for this weekend!! Just got clerance from both bosses.. (wife, work). MEMO time to saddle up!!

I have one head bolt that seems to be stripped. It will go in like it has threads but then spins when it hits the bottom.. what is my best option?? jb weld it in for good??

So the description says that I can use the stock regulator for the 100W leg but need to buy the aftermarket one to run the 150v leg.. anyone know where to get the V Regulator??
