well I am getting the shift star modified already but I thought there was another component to the whole setup besides the star?

Do I need to buy new wrist pins when I change my pistons to aftermarket?? are they the same as the stock ones? and what about the wrist pin bearings?

I have this white deposits in my radiator that are probably from not using the right coolant or water? Which I suspect the last owner used.... any chemical to flush it out?

I found a guy around here that will do a bore and hone for $45 per jug. He also can mill a head. Im gonna split the case. I talked to the guy at the shop and he said it is necessary to do so..

yeah.... I dont want to split the case!!! that would fking suck!!

also what aftermarket piston do you guys recomend? and size?? I know stock is 64mm..

I just chewed up my right piston and need to have my jugs bored and honed and maybe a port job if at the right price.. Anyone know a good shop in my area? Thanks! Also.. what should I look for with my motor? The piston looks bad on top but the cilynder (sp) is not bad.. What about the crank and rods? I have no clue what to check in addition to the obvious... thanks alot!

I need a stock head. in good shape milled or not milled. If milled I a m looking for 3mm

im on the move to rebuild.. I wanna do it right so I need to order alot of parts!! Should be done by then! Ill send you some pics of the piston and what it looks like..

Yes on the float levels and yes to the choke tube. @ to check reeds.

Plug wires switched and then didn't run at all. will check for cracked reed. Thanks for all the help!
