another hq member said check the flywheel , well thanks !! the flywheel was lose ,but.... my buddy said that the threads wear stripped. he's going to try and get a nother nut on there and see if it vibrates. im looking for a new fly wheel and i guess a new crank as well. ive seen some stock cranks on e-bay right now ,soooo i might go that away.moneys tight right now and im not really wanting to spend $400 on a crank , im still working on my kfx 400. it sucks trying to work on 2 bikes!!!!!! at least i can ride my 400(working on a swing arm(+4or6) and cam chain needs replaced) thanks for all the help!!

how much to replace crank bearing.(do it your self)

got my project shee together today. i rode it for a while and put it in the garage and let it idle for a sec. motor sounded crappy!! sounded like the crank was hitting hard. could that be a crank bearing???ran good though. :baseball_wibble:

i have a +6 from the swingarmshop, it got drop during shipping, i told him it was bent a little and no ?"s asked he was willing to send me another that day . i told him it wasnt bad . he said if i had a problem just get a hold of him and he'd ship 1 .

i seen somebodies profile that does custom bike work and i was trying to find his profile because he did a v-star 650 thats sick. my buddy has a 650 and was thinking of customizing it and i wanted to send this guys web site to him. his bottom profile said something??? customs. but he's done a couple of bikes. any help would be great ive been looking thread for thread for about 3 days now.

my buddies crank seal went out about 2 weeks ago. he said it was spitting oil out of the right exhaust pipe. if your spitting oil out and its the crank seal , he said he found somebody on here that did a 60 page crank seal repair-full picts and step by step. he printed all 60 pages. he split the case and ordered the seal, it was like $10 i think. he said it will only spit oil out the right side because oil will get in the crank, the left side will go into the stator.if i lost you ,sorry. i kind of lost myself. hopefully its just your mixture. how are you mixing your gas???

sometimes when i kick on my shee the kick lever will stick in the down ward position. has this ever happened to anybody else???? what could it be?? all i have to do is pull it up alittle and it springs back up.

does anybody use a msd cdi???? whats a good aftermarket cdi and do they help??? thanks.

would it help any to take off my silencers??? this is a drag only project bike. i just got it together and im not going to do anything to serious till after summer. all i have is shaved head(.030),k&n pods,+4 timing,shaved flywheel,shaved reed cages.stock carbs(310 mains) and +6 swing arm. its going to need a top end job next year and im not sure if it has a hot rod crank or not(find out later). im probably going to send it to jeff at f.a.s.t for porting. i was woundering if it would help on the top end if i pull the silencers??? i know its going to be loud as hell but im going to put tips on so they are behind me and not by my filters. whats a good set of out of frame drag pipes?? thanks

went to put on my rear brake and i was geating ready to bleed it and i pushed down on the petal. all of a sudden i saw a mist come out. i pumped it a couple of times and it looked like smoke. could it be that little rubber piece from the petal to the line??? im never going to get this bike together !!!!

i just got my chain today from jeff, he sent me a 120 + acouple(thanks jeff) . i have a +6 with a stock carrier , it looks like im going to have to take of 9 lenths.notsure how much jeff sent me. thanks again jeff"f.a.s.t."

i seen on their web site its only $7.50 a paddle to fix but shipping is so damn high!!!!

its not the base its more of the scoop, is there any glue or adhecieve(?) you could use for rubber-rubber .

is there any way to glue the paddles back on a set of skat-traks??? i know you can send them back to skat-trak and they will do it for a small fee, has anybody tried to glue theirs back??? thanks

i thought about just wrapping them in black exhaust wrap tape. ive never seen it done, i just like to be diffrent. i have a all black shee, so black pipes i think would look sick.

not sure about my timing, dont know if i want to run +4 or +5. motor is apart right now, im getting ready to put my lightened flywheel in and waiting on +6 swingarm. not sure of comp yet either. im sure alot of help !!!
