i have a friend (dollarbillz) that has a craycraft raptor, he runs a air/fuel programmer on his bike at all times. i came across 1 on bansheesuperstore.com . it runs about $360,thought about putting it on and leaveing it on so i can watch my air/fuel at all times. any thoughts??? its called egt exhaust gas temperature kit-- hot tach 2

they are a cast piston,teflon coated

well i use to have a pipe and jetted/filter shee, now i have more of a modded shee i.e. drag port,drag pipe and more ........ im useing it more for 300ft drags and a little dunning. mostly balls to the wall !!! i had mine done till shee blew, cant really remember what my old stock felt like--10 years age-- id like to have it shaved again ,but like i said ive seen 2 come apart now. NOT PRETTY !!!!! thanks for everybodies .02-- probably do it again--- i am looking for a flywheel. thanks !!!

im also lookinf for a flywheel in good shape.

the rings were tight on the piston. i got ahold of wsm yesterday. talked to a couple of people. finally talked to a guy named richard(1-800-222-3375).... he said he's had alot of people call and say the ring gap seemed big. he said that the ring spec runs about like oem 14-18. he said he's seem a couple of 20's. i told him i had over 25. he said he's a banshee owner and has run this piston and rings in his bike with no problem.asked if i wanted to return them, i told him i didnt buy them from him so....... well, he told me he's going to get a set of oem rings and send them my way free of charge. he told me to let him know if they fit any better. i asked him if he was the tech man and he said kind of, he was the owner. so that made me feel better. so hopefully this will fix my problem. thanks for all the help !!! rico(kawiking)

ive had my flywheel shaved and so has all my buddies. mine got messed up when my shee blew,so now im ordering another. ive had 2 of my buddies come apart. just wondering is it worth it ??? i know it revs faster , but if your to heavy it hurts your torque.i weight about 185.

hate to order another set of pistons but if i cant get in touch with them thats what i'll have to do. im not running them like that after putting in a new crank,drag port and alot of other crap.just not worth it. this sucks!!!

these rings even has 1.00 stamped on them. looked up a new set of wsm pistons and the ring parts num is the same as what i have.trying to get in touch with the company and find out what they are suppose to be gapped at. 25 seems so off.

i know ,woke up pissy about it and decided to write about it. thanks to my little boy , ive learned patience !!!! owning a shee will make you have patience or crack !!!! thats how i got my shee for $500 in a bunch of boxes. guy went to rebuild and sayed screw it not worth it !!! ha ha... his lost my gain.. this sucks !!1 but it will be worth it when shee's back together !!!

seems like i take 5 steps forward ,2 steps back !!! just said to my self yesterday, i have everything ordered and ready to put bike together. my buddy and motor builder called last night and said ring gap--25--, flywheel screwed when crank seperated,broke a clutch spring in half and lookes like got a scratch in the cyl wall when i had it ported and i bought a set of carbs off a person on e-bay and their pay-pal account is messed up ???? !!!! what the hell !!!!! all i want is my shee back together!!!!!

well im useing wsm platinum series pistons, the rings that came with it are rik brand piston rings. trying to find a place where i can get 65mm rik rings. i cant remember who i ordered this kit from.. i e-mailed wsm web site last night,hope they write back. all i need is the rings !!!

yep, cyl almost 65mm so is piston.what size rings do i need ??

my old piston was a .75.. new piston is a wsm platinum series 1.00mm over---the rings say 64mm

i had my cyl. bore .40 over the rings are 64mm. my ring gap is 25 !!! isnt it suppose to be around 12-14 ?? need help bad !!

ok,i ordered 12' front shocks from bansheesuperstore over the lowering kit. now im wanting to drop the rear. whats the best way? lowering kit???

kb247 ,i have to agree . ordered my box of goodies friday !!! thanks again jeff. im sure i'll need some help with the carb synchronizer and i also order the springs and the top of the carb(nut??) to help with throttle pull.im sure me and jeff will be talking .lol-lol
