  1. Ok.. i'm the odd ball.. WSM forged pistons.
  2. we fogged the cylinders through the plug holes.. then through the intakes.
  3. I would use a fogging oil over WD.. It will coat everything rather then just where you spray.. Fogging oil is used in PWC when they're winterized for storage. (2-stroke cylinders)
  4. not needed on a stock length swinger.. usually they're only needed on your longer arms.. around +8 or more to help with the chain whip
  5. No, The 8's are hotter. Lower number is a hotter plug. NGK is backwards.
  6. depends on the length of the swinger.
  7. my buddy had a set on his 250r. They looked nice and seemed to be a quality product.
  8. The PT hi-revs is a better pipe imo then the T-5.. It has better bottom... about the same mid.. and has better top end.. Alot of it depends on what your "play" riding is.. The hi-rev pipes are great all around pipes and respond very well to porting. I used them on my PT national hi-rev motor for dune/drag racing.. It wasnt the fastest drag bike.. but Id win my share.
  9. correct.. some intakes use a square opening.
  10. PM returned on ATVD
  11. you should have domes cut for a 4mil with blaster pistons... get ahold of NOSS tell him your setup and he'll cut you a set of domes.
  12. if its not in there.. the cages will back out and petals will fall off. hopefully your intakes match that stuff. if it dont you might need to get the cascade stuffers.
  13. Just like tite says.. 18x4 sls buffs. $130 shipped. Never seen dunes... Only been down a track. best pic I got of them.. spindle mounts not included.
  14. Shaw comps are duneable... But.. They need to be setup for it.. They need lighter weight oil and pressure adjusted. But.. Like Austin said.. I would suggest a coil over type shock.
  15. i'd say 115-120 on alky dependingon builder in a fine stay of tune.
  16. .190 isn't needed for the dunes.. I'd go for the .160's and save some cash.. but tire choice sounds good. Most of us use .125 rims.
  17. wow.. 670 bucks! that thing better have mounted itself on the bike! lol
  18. Odd are you wont find the correct o-rings at your local hardware store, also The dome rings are made from special material. Think its called viton? <-- spelling? That is a pro-x /la-sleeve cylinder.. its not made by CT but.. they work on them. I believe they were originally designed by CP in a joint effort with la-sleeve. CT would be a good place to get the o-rings from. Dont bother with the hardware store plumbing rings... get the right parts and do it right the first time.
  19. Modquad is the only option for me.. Hit up alfie
  20. I've never had a issue with dual pinch bolts. I've owned around 6 swingers from 5 different builders.. havn't had a problem with any of them.. Round tubing swingers are usually chromoly.. your box tubes are usually DOM steel.. a lower grade (cheap). If your carrier was slipping.. it was probably from a manufacturing problem.
  21. My vote is neither.... They're both forms of recreational riding... No skill needed. Just proceed at your own pace.
  22. x3 for Stellar.
  23. marvin shaw shocks is the best option..
  24. Yep... That'll do it Jeff. Not to mention the shock length. Makes it tall in the ass and transfers weight to the front of the bike.
