You might want to buy standard hose clamps from your local hardware store or KRAGEN,C HECKER, SHUCKS. Just .02cents.

Yeah the stiffness is controlled by the amount of nitrogen inside. The rebound is controlled by the internal valving (washer) which is pretty easy to modify if needed. The no link / link does not matter as long as the length is correct. They are real good shocks IMO.
