  1. Did ya not like the boyesens? honestly feel any power between the switch??
  2. He said he has a rad valve..If i'm not mistaken that is boyesen's aftermarket reed set up so that area should be covered. Depending upon what type of riding you do, you might wanna consider a cub set up..You would be able to get everything you need to make it run right and have some cash left over out of the $3500 since you already have CPI inframes and the 4mm crank..
  3. This is a good page to save in your favorites  http://www.repairspot.com/two_stroke_fuel_mixture_ratio.htm
  4. I'm sure the vforce are better as they use a aftermarket cage but you can't beat the tdr's for the price..
  5. For reeds, the TDR reeds on ported stock cages is a nice set-up..TDR gives you the option of ordering the reeds for ported or non ported motors..
  6. Went out yesterday
  7. Thanks man! I have been searching under "lock nut" not "locknut".. I had to cut one of mine off as well..This is like the 3rd banshee i have had to do it to..Seems like those stockers either get froze, or constantly come loose lol..Anyways thanks alot man..
  8. No actually i was looking for a aftermarket one..Thanks anyways
  9. Doesn't seem to be to much on the bay so i thought i'd check here..Anybody got one??
  10. I've had both the 916's in standard and the T5's in chrome..I prefer'd the Finish and performance of the DMC's over the T5's..
  11. I got one from a 04 banshee..If you want it $45 shipped.. Paypal addy is [email protected] if you decide you want it..
  12. Thanks for the advice  ..getting the carbs in is not a problem anymore..I had the 2 tabs where the airbox bolts on moved back about a 1" to compensate(sp) for the bigger carbs..Them babies will slide right in now
  13. I didn't think it was a must switch for the 1mm..I was told by a buddy that people were running 41-42mm carbs on the cubs so i just assumed that the 34's were to small and i would end up with 38's or so..SO i sold the 34's on ebay to cover the price of my new carbs..My intentions wasn't to only go up 1mm but if thats what will work, well thats what i'll do  Edit: Ohhh no doubt there will be a ton of pics
  14. Thanks dave but i got some yellow UPP boots and some trinity Stage lV intakes already ..Now i just got to find myself some 35PWK's..Anyways thanks for the help yet again man
  15. I have ran the CPI's with the box on my bike before the new build and managed to get them in there just fine.. Are the PWK's a better design than the PJ's? I'm wondering if it was a good idea to sell my 34Pj's to end up going to a 35pwk.. CPI's with the box
  16. Fire lanes/open trails and the occasional 1/8th mile run..
  17. I may have to run CPI's if thats the case then..Due to the riding area/conditions i have to have the airbox..I'm glad you mentioned that
  18. Fixin to buy some carbs and was curious what you guys run on your cub's..I will be on gas and will run a airbox with pro flo adapter and no lid..Also just have a clean up port and will be running Shearer SB inframes.. I have considered the 36mm Mikuni TM's and 38mm TMX carbs but just wanted to know what you guys run/recomend..
  19. yeah it would seem to be something with the coil because when the wire was messed with it fired, however i see no crimps, tears or anything like that on it..Even checked the orange and black wire to make sure the connection was good..No corrosion/rust on the male outlets of the coil itself either..Might be a good idea to take my coil over there today and swap it just to see what happens..
  20. Will do mike
  21. Hey all, been having a little bit of trouble with my brother logans banshee..For christmas he bought a set of cylinders from my buddy and he has been having trouble..I know it's not the cylinders as those things are cherry.. The cylinders are vito's 409 cylinders that have a MX/trail port from CPcustoms. The problem we are having is it's not really getting alot of spark and isn't starting..We are getting a good bright blue spark about 1 outta every 4-5 kicks..Logan must have kicked it 25-30 times without it starting..Then coty pulls of the spark plug cap puts it back on and it starts in like 3 kicks..He then rides it around the yard shuts it off and it does the same shit again..We swapped a known working CDI over without any help..My question is is it possible for a stator/coil to go bad while just sitting there, not being rode? I mean he shut the bike off about 3 months ago while it was running fine, and now we put it back together and this is going on..I have checked to make sure it has a good ground and that the spark plug wires weren't torn or anything like that..I'm basically stumped..I have checked alot of the common stuff like the carbs crossover tube, synced the carbs and checked the pick up coil gapth..So has anybody had this problem, or might have a direction they can point me i would really appreciate it..
  22. If it was me and was planning on spending 2k i think i would just build my own motor that way i knew everything would be fresh..Play your cards right and buy some of the components used, and you could build a 4mill cub for right arround that..
  23. Just like the title says i need the upper case due to some stupid BS!..Must have all studs and no cracks or anything like that.. Post below or shoot me a PM with price..
  24. Bump! My buddy has the exact same porting setup from CP and it rips! He ended up selling it to my little brother shortly after christmas for his rumbleshee..Awesome running cylinders right there
  25. Got the bar clamp today..Shipping was incredibly fast and item looks great..Thanks a ton steve
