I've read on the blaster sites that if you tape off the new pipes and spray some high temp paint on the inside it will prevent the blueing/discoloration..

Yeah i have had that same cable on a few sets of carbs.. Main thing to check is that it open's the slides all the way..

Up for sell is a pair of mikuni 36mm TMX carbs on gas.. These are mikuni's best 2stroke carb and sell for $200 each..I havn't even got a chance to run these things since i bought them off ebay, as i havn't finished my build yet.. Carbs are coming off a very clean/well taken care of 99..Only reason for sell is going up to a 38 or 40.. Asking $250 OBO, or will consider trade for bigger carbs.. Paypal only please.. Going over to help little bro put some billet lights on today.. I havn't got to look at the harness but i know that the harness has been compromised, so to avoid any trouble out at there house i thought i'd ask you guys a couple quick questions.. 1. Worst possible scenerio, Saying all the headlight wiring has been cut out of the harness, I just need to use the yellow wire coming out of the stator for the hot add the toggle switch and find a place on the frame for the ground wire correct?? 2. Assuming the wires are there, The new billet lights are only 1 beam, not high and low like the stockers.. So would it be better to just use the bright light wire(which color is that btw yellow or green) or wire both the high/low beams together and then put them to the hot on the billet lights?? I know it wouldn't matter wiring the green and yellow together just thought he'd have lights on low and high beam reguardless of wether the intensity of the beams changed.. I don't have a clymers yet so if anybody can flip to it and give me a few awnsers before 4pm it would be much appreciated.. Edit: on part 2 i'm not saying wiring left side and right side together.. Meaning to say wire the yellow and green together on each side..

Clearing the house of some parts.. Very nice set of lights..Only minimal problem with one of the lights is it has to be wired to the harness as the plastic harness got melted to a pipe at some point.. Still not a issues with them as they are in very good shape.. $40 shipped for the lights $20 shipped for the covers or $55 shipped for both.. Also have a lower shifter side a arm.. Has newer bushings and sleeves..Ball joint is tight!..It does need painted because she's ugly but shes straight lol..$35 shipped

This engine calculator is pretty handy..Maybe someone should send it to him.. Mikes got a post in the pics section of his show and shine bikes.. Basically its a vinyl that stretches around the entire fender and looks like custom paint..Are you could just use the # in my sig to call him and he can tell you more about it.. :thumbsup:
