O and a side note unless u dont already have one invest in a CB radio ull love it on the trip keeps u alert entertained and knowing whats ahead its been a lifesaver for me at times

i dont do intense drag, i get down in the sand playing around and hillclimbing racing whatever- told my builder i wanted a 4mil on pump gas with little tricks and better shifts i should be around 80hp and like i said i have fine shifts, i rarely get a false neutral around 1st thats about it im just on this subject becuase everytime someone has a cub build question theres always ovverides brought up that there soooo needed, nothing against them would be tottally cool to have but theres money that could be better spent o u kno damn well when shifting a cub from second to 3rd its about a split second haha

try not to get stressed around cops it can be hard i kno, if i was in that situation just sit in ur car for a minute make a call for a min. smoke a cigg not hop in and bone out They can smell your fear That really sucks about the CDL too my mom drives and she can`t even have cough syrup in her truck

thats not a fact, i have a cleaned up FAST cub and i have no problems shifting at high rpms full throtlle white knuckle riding. With properly maintaned transmission components theres no problems for me and my bike is quick- i could see needing one for Drag because the cub really revs high for the lower gears

just a clean up? that boggles my mind that ur needing and override, do u have high compression domes running high octane? I have 20cc domes running pump gas it runs hard, but i have no trannsmision problems needing one

How much port work did u have on that 4mil ?

u dont have to rejet for fucking 500ft!!!!!!!! whatthefuck, stock is 220! shoot for a 300-320 main- im running a 260 main at sea to 1000ft with pipes and open filters

no u should`nt have to for a 500ft difference i would`nt by the gas from that elevation tho

for just play riding and duning, timing plate-max load bearing-heavy clutch with pancake bearing-shift star mod and shift shaft mod/easy spring for sure

from what ive seen all u need to do is have a container big or small hook it up to the carbs and run premix gas its pretty easy, i think u just run the bike until it starts to bog then u kno the alkohol is run out of the system

yea ur gonna need to port for it ur adding 4mm of stroke i think u can run a plate and it will alighn the ports

i run around 260 mains in my piped banshee at 0-500ft

no bottle on both bikes

thad be cool to see someone make one and work great, keep in mind u have to modify the clutch cover also

i used a fancy tool on mine called a porto power its practicaly a jack that u can use anywhere just fill in any needed space with 4x4s u might be able to get away with a car jack the straight up kind, bent mine till the tank fit right and the radiator shroud matched up

u dont need a ovveride for a cub to shift nice or/and fast sum simple less expensive mods are alot easier i have the shift star done shift shaft mod and easier spring :thumbsup:

try running a smaller premix ratio for starters then play with jetting

id just do that or get fancy with scrap metal and a welder
