  1. Man, I never knew that. Thanks
  2. Ya them Harbour freight and like ovens are expensive for the size oven you get. I used my toaster oven when I got my first eastwood gun. It worked but I was limited on part sizes. It worked real well for learning purposes but yes it is all in the prep you do first.
  3. Sorry man I practically gave it away yesterday...enough with this HQ site...
  4. Made it back to work...Still need to sell this bike. Willing to reduce the price to get Jeff paid off. $2500
  5. Gotta part with my banshee before I even get to see it...hit up Jeff at fast, he will have the motor details. Basically a stock everything bike with DMC916's and a brand new 421 cub...would like to try for $3000 but willing to deal. No pics...ask Jeff for them. KC area. Probably wont be back online til hopefully monday with the weather around here.
  6. I would recommend what FASTOYS said. Give him a call but point being try to stick with one builder and use there recommendations as to what should be next...all depends on how far you want to go on a stock crank.
  7. Ya the powder and the gun are easy to get...It's the oven it takes to bake it is a little more expensive...
  8. Just wanted to thank ATC250RCHICK and I think 2TWIN350s for going through the hassle of getting DMC to put the 916's back into production. I waited and recieved my pipes just as they said they would do. Robert
  9. Ya I don.t understand why the bov would be on one runner only and not the collector... Did you decide on a different turbo just because you wanted one with a external bov setup or what I would really like to know is how you convert a internal bov to a external? I guess you could put a plate where the internal flapper would be... Good write up Kanoodle... What I meant to be refering too in wastegate and not bov!
  10. I will use this advise myself until I can afford some bigger carbs and shearers...I bought some dmc916 for my stock bike but in between getting them my bike ran into problems and now I have 421 cub with stock carbs and the 916's, probably not the best setup but until I can afford to go with bigger carbs I think I will hold off on the shearers and have it all done at once. I wonder how trail friendly it will be the way it is?
  11. This has been a good thread to read, I just couldnt stop reading after 3 different posts replied with the 1 into 2 carb setups. I wonder if that would make the torque of the banshee shine...
  12. If yamaha was listening I would think they already would have came out with a high revving 2 CYLINDER 4 STROKE....but I think they waited too long...Go CAN-AM
  13. I hope he is listening to some of these replies or maybe he is happy with the way it runs now...I think you are right, he needs to fix the main problem...that is being beaten by a z400 before he starts doing the mods...
  14. So it turns out he has a worn out motor???? Did the bike ever run right since he got it? Did he just get used to it being slow... he will be in for a suprise when it does run right...Hell I thought he just didnt know it had 6 gears...by the 400Z pulling away on top end..
  15. I am just waiting on my invoice as to where to send my balance and I will be happy with my 916's and a discount...What are peoples opinions on running these pipes on a 421 unported cub engine? I am not looking for any kind of drag setup but was wondering if you can get a cub ported more for a dune/trail setup while running these pipes....
  16. So them are the first generation OOF pipes?
  17. I am telling ya, just use a old school bumper jack that fits into the slot in your bumber on old school cars...I am old school and thats how I still roll...
  18. I was just checking. I think by the time we get them it will be just in time for me to actually need them...I think alot of the others might be biting the bit more than I... I will give them a call just see how things are coming along..
  19. So what is the status of our pipes now?
  20. You get that camera mount yet???
  21. Ya where is our purchasing agent???
  22. Another week of waiting??? I hope they take the time to weld them leaks you talk about...
  23. Jeff is a good guy to deal with. He has my bike now and I am sure I will be happy with it after he gives it his service...a motor should almost be on it's way jeff.
  24. I also need the front fender support brackets if you still got them laying around.
  25. Still got the motor for sale?
