  1. Go to yamaha canada's website, its posted there, 2007 banshee.
  2. 3 raptors, 3 450s, and a bunch of other crap. :yankyank:
  3. If its just a little hole, it sounds to me like whoever (him) ported them, didn't have much if any experience, and simply went too far at one point. They tried hogging out the transfers as much as they could and went right through, which makes me think they might be really thin in other places.
  4. Just plan on lots of money for drinks. They try and hide the water from you, so you're left with buying alcohol the whole time. Not really a bad thing, but it gets kind of expensive.
  5. http://www.atvsuspensiontech.com/ Look there, they have a special right now with Epic a-arms (same company that makes Alba's a-arms), TCS shocks for $999. Probably the best deal you can get.
  6. You got me then. Email lonestar and ask them (include a link to the pictures). While the rust line on your steering stop indicates it might have been bent, it doesn't look like bending it in will fix the problem.
  7. Only thing I can think of is you have the a-arms on the wrong side maybe?
  8. What kind of ram, and how many sticks? If its 4 sticks, your going to be running at reduced speed. The AMD64 memory controller can only run 4 sticks at 333 mHz. Its better to just run 2 x 1 GB sticks than 4. 2 gigs is more than enough, and having more ram won't make up for the speed difference. Im running a similar system, and 2 gigs is more than enough. Other than that it looks fine, other than the whole winblows part. True geeks run linux (or BSD).
  9. Your talking about the wheel is turning too far right? I've had to bend my steering stop back a couple times, hard hits to the front end tend to wear it out.
  10. Yep. Do all you people who think nerfs are a must have a problem keeping your feet on the pegs (Im serious here)? Personally I have never found a need for them, and have plenty of other things to spend the money on.
  11. They all say you need maintenance like that, and if you race a full mx season practicing every week, I'll bet you do. For most of us, they'll be fine for years.
  12. http://www.directdrivecnc.net/images/Picture_0110.JPG See the arms with the screws on them, look at the lobes (cam shaped end opposite the screw). The further those arms swing out (they are attached in the middle), the harder those lobes push on the pressure plate behind them. Centrifugal force causes them to swing out. Higher rpm = greater clamping force. That make any sense?
  13. Wow, ambitious is an understatement. Good luck, hope it gets off the ground and going. Id definately love to be near a place like that.
  14. Using his numbers, 318,434 miles. All the way to the moon, and on the way back.
  15. Well first check and see what length shock they use. More than likely its not going to be much longer at all, so you won't see any benefit (long travel front ends are horribly overpriced).
  16. Definately better than YFZ shocks (for one thing they're the right length, they're built for a banshee, and they fit without modification). A full out rebuild will probably cost a decent bit, but a simple revalve wouldn't be but a couple hundred bucks probably. If you can't afford it now, just ride with them and enjoy. www.tcsracing.com 561 Chaney Street Unit E Lake Elsinore, CA 92530 Phone: 951-245-7484 Fax: 951-245-7470
  17. Damn you, I was going to get those! Ohlins never really made it big with the quad market over here (I think they made more progress in europe). They are good shocks though, and if you send them out to someone to rebuild (hint TCS), you will have some killer shocks.
  18. Give him an ultimatum (if you can't confront him face to face, certified mail), and tell him you want your cylinders back now, and that you will compensate him for work done (probably not any yet). And if he does not give them to you immediately, that you will call the police.
  19. Works aren't bad on the trails, they do a whole lot better than stock. Although pretty much any aftermarket shocks are a lot better than works.
  20. South carolina, so that would be a little bit of a drive. I've really just been keeping an eye out for a decent shee as a project, but when I saw this I had to wonder. I really just had no clue what 250r's are going for now days, not really any around here.
  21. Ok, this has just got me wondering a couple things. What OS are your servers running? And the whole IPB is php right? Where are the vulnerabilities coming from that are allowing them write files on your server (the code for the board right?) In which case, I would think you should be yelling at Invision, as their software has some sort of vulnerability. Of course I could be way off.
  22. Just found a guy in town selling his 86 250R. Its sat in storage for the past 16 years, and is supposedly in great shape (haven't went to look at it yet). He wants $2800 firm for it. Stock or close to it. Should I get it? (No, I won't be getting rid of the shee, this would be for a toy, and for my dad to ride)
  23. Jager and well .... jager and anything. And Jack, and Forty creek, and any top shelf vodka (level is my favorite), and pretty much any rum, beer... Hell, I'll drink anything.
  24. You people might want to search on the viruses you've gotten, Ive seen some before that you can't get rid of by just hitting a button (as in no, norton can't get rid of it). You have to go into safe mode, delete registry keys, edit files and so on. It could just be that you think you've gotten rid of the virus, when you really didn't. Especially now with the rootkits some of these things have come up with :: , you can't get rid of them easily at all. They manage to hide files so well that you don't even know they are there.
  25. Yep, if you're using windows, not a smart idea to run without anti-virus stuff. Now as far as spyware, Im not sure which ones are good now, but I do know that a lot of the ones you pay for (or have a free version), will infect you with more crap to try and get you to pay more. NEVER download anti-spyware programs from a pop-up add. Best solution, stop using windows.
