  5. have you stood your bike up on the grab bar recently?? if so its just fuel leaking back from the carbs, which is normal if the quad sits vertical on its grab bar. just remember to oil your filter again as the gas will dissolvce the filter oil if you havent had your bike on the grab bar stu

  7. how about put it in a 35mm film case. the little round ones! they are really waterproof and hardy, just wrap some tape round the top so it doeast fall off and stick it somewhere on the bike. I got this for y roadbike with spare batts for the alarm fob and a fiver in case i get low on gas with no cash on me just keep it under my seat and it works perfectly! stu

  9. i burnt my motor out through detonation about 2 years ago..... shee was running 19cc domes and stock timing, using 98 octane and shee blew so id def go with 100 or higher with the timing advance also stu
  10. my mate sent me this link to a story....check it out <CLICKY> stu
  11. triumph engines are rock solid mate. Id prob rate them higher than your top foer to be honest. Is the 110hp at the crank?? i dont think the tt600 make that much power at the wheel just look out for the new 680 triple due out next year though, that will be id go for it tungsten, the triumphs are renowned for their build quality stu
  12. if your thinking of a busa look into the kawi zx-12r personally i prefer them to the suzuki but that could just be me stu
  13. i can only assume you've never ridden a cbr600 then.......theres no possible way a stock shee could outrun a 600, unless he ran out of fuel stu
  14. hehe you got my vote superbanshee!! although air cooling, kick start and getting it in an uncut blaster frame could be a little hard work stu
  15. ah i get you banshdaog I wouldnt mind a couple of those stickers Lee if you still got some of the older style.... banshdog I'll PM Lee see what he says stu
  16. this is one of the most worthwhile posts mate theres defo no need to appologize. it seems that there are becomming more and more wankers on the net, and this site too, who are constantly trying to fu*k people over......why they do it I dont know???? sorry to hear u got screwed mate stu

  18. Id go with the axle first but thats just me. It will be a lot less $$$ than the a-arms, and you'll have to get some shox to go with the arms too for most benefit. stu
  19. PM BDBanshee on these forums, i know he does them for ya and i think boonman does them also stu
  20. its one of the well known downfalls of the banshee design.....everyone hates it!! run a round-housing swinger and axle carrier and you wont regret it. you can get different legths to suit your riding style too what do you ride mostly? trails/mx/dune....... stu
  21. does it run better with the choke on the left carb?
  22. is the coolant level staying constant?? It could be you got coolant spilling into your left cylinder?? could be your head nuts aren't torqued enough or a bad head gasket or o-rings if you've got a coolhead?---i couldnt see one listed in your sig. Are you using the rz head? It would probably be worth taking the head off and making sure the gasket is good and also making sure the head is completely flat on the cylinder side. But this would surely drop the compression a little? and you say the comp is the same in each cylinder......hhhmmmmm if that doesnt work im sure someone will chirp in with a suggestion ill keep thinking of any ideas mate stu
  23. does it do this all through the rev range or just at idle trigg?? I had an identical problem at idle but as soon as you gave it gas shee was allright. I tried adjusting the idle speed adjusters on the carb and that didnt help so I adjusted the air screws and shee ran sweetly give it a go mate and good luck with the race next weekend! If your ever up at Toms farm drop me a PM I'll come down and say hi, its only about a half hour away stu
  24. unless your used to riding banshees with/without porting I doubt you'd be able to tell just by riding her. just take the carbs and intake off and shine a light down the intake. Have a look at the size of the intake ports and especially the width of the bridge in the middle. If it looks like thay have been ground down....its ported! If you cant tell from that post some pics here and the HQ will let you know Hell post some pics anyway! stu
  25. they look sick!! id love to give that shizzle a go, gonna try get something sorted out this summer stu
