ok guys I bought a set of Axis shocks awhile back. there dual rates with ressies, the spring color is greay and blue. there an older model. heres a pic from ebay, there the same exact shock. http://cm.ebay.com/cm/ck/1065-29296-2357-0...7275&lk=URL question is, can i adjust the ride hight of these shocks, and if so, how? I tried spinning the spring but nothing happened. maybe there not adjustable this way, maybe i need a special tool?, i have no idea but looking for some help. thanks

They should fit fine, except you will not beable to use the kep pod any more. When i had pro tpers i relocated my key under the seat with a billet hide a key. I think the banshee looks way better relocating the key, but thats just me. As far as the bars being too low, you will have to try them out and decide that. If you do end up really liking the bars but there too low you could aways by an extended steering stem or some risers. I think the low bars are great with risers. They feel awsome and they look real nice too. Hope this helps and feel free to pm me with any questions. Peter

congats on the banshee and welcome to the hq. i mostly ride trails with my banshee. your bike sounds like its setup for trails pretty good. I have never ran the pro circuit pipes but i have heard that they will give you good low end which is what you want for trails. for the airbox its good to be cut open alittle but make sure the whole cover isnt off. as you know when you ride trails you will encounter water ways and puddles and its very important to keep as much water out of the air box as possible. For my box I took off the snorkel and cut a 3 inch square box in the back of the top of the box. This way more air will come in but for the most part the filter is still covered and protected. Ive never ran a boost bottle because if you run a search you will hear nothing but bad reveiws about them. Some people evan say they can be bad for the banshee motor. Again i have never ran one so I cant say for sure. Thats one of the problems with this site. Although people mean well, some just repeat what they hear and read as if they really know first hand. Anyways back to the banshee, you said the jetting is good, are you running dual carbs or single? If you ever decide to put some money into it I would recomend a 2 into 1 carb. It will give you better low end and it much easier to work on. Another good part for woods riding. Sounds like your alittle unhappy with the tires, I would start by getting rid of the fronts and getting some Kenda Klaws 23 inch. These are really nice light front tires. I have them and love them. I would recomend alittle bigger tire than the normal 21 inch because as you know when riding in the woods you will always encounter big rocks, stumps, etc. that you need to go over. A higher tire in front will help you go over objects easier with out geting caught up or denting your a arm. The pure sport bandits are not bad. My bro rides them on his banshee. I would keep them until you need another set which because of all the wheel spinning on a banshee should be soon enough, lol. The only thing i would recomend right now and it doesnt cost alot of money is a good belly and rear end skid plate. I personally like PRM's skids. They are very tuff. I would also recomend a pro flow plate. This will give your airfilter a much better fit than the stock one, keeping dust and dirt out off you motor. I would start with this and revisit us when your ready to get some more parts. Good luck and welcome to the addiction, lol. Peter

brand new bashee fell apart
peterlocal22 replied to 74bronco302's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i dont agree, when you buy a new bike you should not have to run arouund with a wrench checking every nut and bolt. thats the main reason for buying a new bike its suppose to be ready to go. 74bronco302, i dont know if you hurt anything, infact i doubt you did. thee bikes are pretty tuff and take a beating. my buddy flipped his banshee hard and other than a couple cosmetic bumps it was fine. on another not you should at least try and get something out of the dealership you got it from. not only could have the bike been damaged but you could have been killed and this was all because the bike was not built to specifications. I think the dealership is liable. again I would try to get something but dont hold your breath, lol. good luck and keep us updated on what happens. peter -
not positve but if your bike is too high in the front its probably the shocks not the a arms. what kind of shocks are you running? man +4 i would like to see those, must be real sweet on a banshee

if you have two sets keep one with and one with out best of both worlds
