  1. well the first question is how much can you spend? the reason why is because we can put together an inxepsive start for you but thats not always the best move. for example when i wanted some new handlebars i wanted fasst flexx bars but thought they were too expensive so i bought some pro tapers for 70 bucks. a year later i still wanted the flexx bars and ended up buying them. well if i had just bought them to start with i could have saved 70 bucks and put that towards something else. so its not always the best route to get a quick inexp. set up that will work. sometimes its better to buy one or two really good parts that you will never have to change as you become a better racer and need to grow. does this make sense. I cant say from experience but from what ive read i would go w the -2 swing arm. im looking to get one in the next couple months myself. look into extended a arms, better front shocks for now, back later, maybe a 2 inot 1 carb, keep the pipes you have. again i let me know what your looking to spend and i can give you a better idea. oh ya good move on the banshee, you can make them pretty insane.
  2. took the screw out of each carb cleaned it, still leaking. then took the whole bottom half of the carbs off and replaced them w diff bottom halfs that i know were not leaking. it still leaks. whats next the floats?
  3. i thought you were suppose to mix it w water because it works with water to keep the bike cooler? i thoought the two liquads work together?
  4. thanks for the tip on the carbs. rocket WHAT, whats there excuse this time?????
  5. need to change out the pilot jets on my bros bike. he has dual stockers in it right now. any advice is appreciated thanks
  6. actually it for my brothers bike. he has stock dual carbs. thats why im alittle unsure i have very little exp. w the the dual stockers.
  7. ok that makes more sense i was alittle confused before. ill check it first thing tomorrow thanks for clearing that up
  8. pm me if you have a 2 into 1 carb set up for a banshee thans
  9. looking for some ac pro peg nerf bars w heel guards for banshee
  10. well i tightened the four screws on the bottom of the carb. still leaked, i then took the bottom part of the carb off that holds the gas, and cleaned it, put it back and it still leaks? its only on one carb. any other suggestions? thanks
  11. bike runs great when the choke is all the way out. when i pushed the choke in the idle went down and when i tried to give it alittle throttle it bogged down and died. when i turned the air screws to the right so the screw was going in the throttle got better when the choke was in. adventually the screws were maxxed out to the right however the first bit of throttle was much better. i think this means my pilot jet needs to be adjusted right? if so do i go up or down? if this is not the case can some one direct me to the correction? thanks
  12. good point didnt evan think of that thanks
  13. my brother just picked up a 2003 banshee, the prev. owner said he was running amsoil. will i be causeing any problems w bike if i use a differnet oil. pretty sure there wont be any problems but just wanted to ask before i switched it. thanks in advance
  14. like chevy7398 said if its set up right it will be really great. ive ridden banshees mostly but ive ridden other bikes like the 450s which everyone says is so amaizing. the thing is i dont see it. the right banshee is just as good. i think its more the rider. alot of people just say bad things about banshees because there just going w what everyone else is saying and they really have no idea. yes it will be expensive to build the banshee to where you want it but its still just as exp. alot of times more exp. on the four strokes. maybe im im given the banshee more credit than it deserves but this is just my opinion what ever you go w let us know, esp if you go w the banshee and need some help w the set up good luck
  15. post some pics if you can those seem like real nice arms
  16. i have asr too but there great, remember you bend it they replace it. its the best warrenty out there better than any company. jackson i know you dont like the asr but you should think about selling the arms you have and get the asr, there much better in my opinion. ive tried your front end, the shocks are great and a arms are good but if you ever decide to switch go with asr, unless you have the money go w what ever your bank account calls for, hopefully rolldesign, lol
  17. there were several people on this site that had the front set up and loved it. it looks pretty sick to me but i dont have the money. is this the set up you run jackson? if so do you like it?
  18. that post was from 2004 thats a long time ago and i know they have come along way since that post. if you do a search on recent topics on the banshee website theres alot of positive. i have a set and love them. i highly recomend them. i ride trails and i ride hard.

  20. ok go with the stabilzer instead of the aftermarket anti vibe stem?
  21. just talking w my buddy and he said he has the flex bars with anti vibe steering stem. I though this was alittle overkill, but what does everone else think?
  22. ok sweet, who makes them stock height? thanks
  23. whats up all, looking into getting an aftermarket anti vibe steering stem but want to know 1.) are they worth the money 2.) do they make one stock height or are they all at least +1 3.) do they make an anti vibe system that can be bolted right to the stock stem or do you need the whole set up to work properly? thanks
