  1. ok i will try that, if im going to put it to zero then should i just not even run the adjustable and put on the stock plate? thanks
  2. well i put an adj. timing plate, case saver, billet impellar, first off it wont start but i have a feeling it might be no spark because the plugs on his quad always seem to foul. if its not the spark could it be from installing one of the mods i mentioned? also this is the part that im really puzzled about, when i kick it, the kick starter will go all the way down to the peg area and then shot back up real hard and quick. almost busted my foot a couple times. does this have anything to do with the mods? thanks peter

  8. hi guys, i was working on my bros 2003 banshee yesterday, installing some parts, billet impellar, new gasket for cluch cover, etc. My brother just recently bought the bike used. As you know inorder to remove the clutch cover you have to drain the oil and coolant. so i drained the oil and then started to do the collant. i started with the left side of the cylinder where the bolt is. It was unusually difficult to get off. I noticed when it finally came out it made a cracking noise. Anyways i continued on and removed it, the coolant came out and i then did the same thing on the right side. I looked at the bolt from the left side and i noticed the copper washer was stuck to the head of the bolt and i mean stuck. i also noticed a silver like color around the outside of the washer. i couldnt get the washer no matter how hard i tried. anyways once everything was completed and it was time to put the bolts back in i noticed the left bolt just kept spinning. So i knew something was up. I removed the bolt and looked at it. it seemed fine so i then looked at the cylinder where the bolt scews into. it was flat and smot almost all the way in except just alittle bit. So im guessing the original owner stripped the cylinder out but then jd welded the washer to the bolt and the bolt to the cylinder or something alon those lines? So now im trying to figure out the best way to go about fixing the problem. do i buy a new left cylinder or can it be re thread? anyone run into this problem and have a good solution? thanks peter
  9. screw it, bought the g force axle. man this hobby really is an addiction
  10. my front end is around 48-49 inchs wide and my rearend is 45 inch wide? im thinking the aftermarcket axle might be a good idea to get them to match up perfectly. let me ask you this, is it better to have a wider front than rear, or a wider rear than front, or do you want them both the same? thanks
  11. my bro has them on his banshee and the thing rips. i have t5's but for trails im thinking the gnarlys are alittle better. just my opinion. either pipe is great but best bang for the buck i would say gnarleys,
  12. i have one but a differnet company and i love it. i highly recomend getting one.
  13. ok sounds good. so it sounds like you want to get your front end and rear end at the same width? is this correct?
  14. so are you guys recomending or not recomending a new ext. axle? thanks
  15. zach ill probably take yoour advice i just wanted to see if it was a worthy upgrade becaause my stock axle is in great shap. how does the gforce axle hold up with the jumps?
  16. janssen makes a long travel set up but i belive its +3+1
  17. just like the title says. i have a 2004 banshee with +3+1 a arms. just bought a new -2 swingarm and wanted to know if my stock axle is ok to use with this set up or if i should get an extended axle. i mostly ride trails, and some times hit the track. i love hitting the jumps and really beating the shee thanks in advance
  18. single carb is the way to go if you need more bottom end and if you need to constantly work on your carb, for example mess with the jetting during the differnet seasons. there awsome for trail riding. they also make the motor look alot cleaner like differnetstrokes said. here are some dyno results http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...655&hl=dyno
