  6. hey lowbuc, i have not yet installed your 2 into 1 onto this bike yet. im going to do that in a couple weeks. ill keep you updated when that happens. right now im just having problems with my bros bike. i sprayed some more starting fluid in and started it, this time gave it a good amount of throttle, it ran for 5 seconds rev up high then died? i also noticed after several attempts with the throttle open that my right leg got burnt on the stinger. then i touched the other stinger and it was only warm, not hot?
  7. guys im still working on my bros banshee. i put in a new billet propeller, new flywheel with adj. timing plate. the bike is a pain to start but it always was. so i through some starting fluid in and it started right up for 2 seconds then died. i did it again but this time gave it throttle, it started right up and reved right up then bogged out and died. same thing over and over with the choke in and with the choke out. what could the problem be? thanks peter
  8. gmctruck1976 first of all thanks for your service. second, i cant speak for everyone else but i would really love to hear the comparison. it would really end alot of the debates about the dual vs. single. cant waite to hear the results. peter
  9. enough is enough the guy was asking about trading his dirt bike for a shee. if you ask me, get it. you will love it because there alot of fun. ride alone or with your girl on the back. thats why i got mine because i wanted something with four wheels but a 2 stroke. this way i can go camping, four wheeling alone with my girl, in snow summer whatever. there great all the time. now i know everyone will disagree with this but at least half of you who are saying having a beer and riding is really a bad idea probably at one time did it so back off. finally i too am sick of hearing that the banshee was designed for drag racing. yes you can make a banshee a great drag racer but they were not by any means built to drag. in order to build a comptitve drag bike alot of changes need to be made. back to the subject, buy the bike you will love it no matter what you use it for unless you need it to plow snow, lol now thats a different story
  10. comes with stock shifter thats cool
  11. ya but i think there really a good shock for the banshee with yfz a arms

  15. 16. Buying a new swingarm. Im going with a -2 roundhouse but not sure what company to go with. I ride trails with lots of roots, rocks etc so i need one thats tough. The skid plate tabs need to be real tough. Anyone have a swingarm that they like and one thats going to stand up to a beating or one they dont like and why. The stock swingarm is built tough and the tabs for the skid plate never bend so i need something like that but I want a -2 roundhouse. Hows Janssen, laeger, asr, avenger etc? please if you have an aftermarcket swing and you ride trails etc. please leave review. i need to buy one by the middle of this week so i can have it for my big ride in june. thanks

  20. whats up everyone. put an adjustable timing plate on my bros shee. advanced the timing to +2 just to see how it runs. wouldnt start. so i checked the jetting and the pilot was a size 30. he has stock dual carbs. so living in new england the weather is getting nicer, elevation around sea level i had a couple size 25 pilot jets in my tool box. i put them in. the bike did start but would die when i shut the choke off. so i then messed with the air screws on each carb. it started but would die if i shut the choke off or gassed the throttle. i also noticed that the right pipe would backfire and pop alot when i gave it some gas. im thinking i need to up the pilot jets to a 27.5? now could the back firing be because the carbs are out of sync because i messed with them, or the timning is throwing it off? any advice, anyone run ito this problem? thanks in advance. peter
  21. what happenend to the ride?
