  1. Whether you buy new or used, if its got a stock air filter assembly, get rid of it and get some kinda of clamp on set up. There are several different brands of adapter plates and filters floatin around.
  2. Son of a mother f..........
  3. Okay, kracker. Looks to me that the only thing similar would be the caliper. Like I typed in the other post, brake rotors are different. Everything else is different too. Now......here's a far fetched idea, and if you go this route and it doesnt work don't get pissed at me (disclaimer) but.... it looks as if you could mount a carrier from a banshee to the warrior's swing arm. The only thing that looks identical is the caliper. I'd take all my shit apart again for ya and put the x-ray microscope and shit on it but, god damn was it a bitch to take apart. Sorry if I wasnt much help.
  4. Throw you a 15 tooth sproket in the front. Makes a pretty good bit of difference.
  5. Im usually willin to help a kracker out. I know the carrier bearings are different. I just recently changed em out on both bikes. so the axle is different. I believe the caliper is the same but mounts closer to the swingarm because of the difference in the diameter of the rotors. It be later this even so please be patient.
  6. I've got a 99 warrior along with my banshee and I can tell you that some of the parts are different on each. I know for a fact that the disc rotor on the banshee is of smaller diameter. Im not sure on the axle and caliper. I'll check it out for ya this afternoon in exchange for a cold 6 pack of coronas
  7. Sounds like the master cyl to me. You can get a kit to rebuild it, i believe for bout 15 or 20 bucks. A lot cheaper than a complete new master cyl.
  8. Completely stock! All it needs are new tires. The ones on it, in the picture, make it ride like shit.
  9. WOrd! Where was Jessie Jackson during all this goins ons?
  10. Im fixin to get me a new 4 stroke too. Im leanin more twards a cbr600f4 or one of those yfz600r's
  11. I usually run 3.5 to 4 lbs in all my tires. When April rolls around i usually switch out the winter air that I had in there. Same for winter. I usually start around the end of September and switch out the summer air. Seems to ride better and hook up really well. Seriously, run about 3.5 to 4lbs.
  12. I gots a question on that. I got a good main jet setting, nice chocolate smoke ring on the base of the porcelin and nice chocolate color on the tip of the white part of the plug. I have my needle set in the stock position. I took my plugs out the other day after runnin a tank of gas through it and my plugs were kind of a grey white color in the middle of the porcelin. I have tried richening up the needle but it doesnt run as well. It idles like a purring kitten and runs like a scalded ape at full throttle. Is this a problem in the midrange though? About the only time I jam the throttle (duh) is when im taking off. I guess from reading the plug that its lean in the midrange? but when i raise the needle a notch its acts like its too rich.
  13. I wanna put my bike in. I know i'm late but........ I didnt put my pipes on yet. havent finished them but....
  14. Did you check to see if the choke crossover tube is still connected between the carbs? Happened to me one time and my shee acted the same way. Have you swapped your coil wires to see if it acts the same?
  15. I've got fmfs and they are way better than stock. I dont know about the pro circuits but have heard good things about them too. I think a lot of guys here run Toomey T5's and drag pipes. I'm looking into some CPI's or Shearer inframes. I think there is a guy on here, his screen name is namshee and he's from your area. He may chime in and let you know some options.
  16. Your shee is new right? I had the same problem till I started looking through the jetting and exhaust forum. Adjust your air screws and idle screws. Get some pipes on it, dump that crappy stock air filter set up and really make that LTZ look like a fool.
  17. How bout the guy who's screen name was asshole? You know, I'm startin to think that was in a three wheeler forum somewheres. Sorry guys.
  18. Hey man, didnt have me confused. I called it like I read it. Just trin to help out another HQ'r and some folks gotta be buttholes. Know what I mean? Hope your bike is haulin booty.
  19. Let me say a lil' sumthin. Ya'll talkin' bout how stupid them fuckers are at Autozone. I used to work at an auto parts store and half the jackasses that wanted parts were idiots too. I'd get asked shit like, how much a fuel pump for a blue oldsmobile is and what does it mean when my car leanin to one side and....just stupid shit. Call up autozone and tell em you need a radiator cap for a 70 model volkswagon beetle, oh, and one them upper radiator hose pipes. And then ask em how much antifreeze it takes to fill a waterbed.
  20. I know you meant to type: Why would you disgrace a banshee like that?
  21. Look fella. I put that little lazy link there for you. Why don't you read over it CAREFULLY, ok?
  22. Nice looking warrior. Love your screen name by the way. bumpity bump bump bump.
  23. Wise ass? I've read "carefully" enough into the first post in this thread. Seems that I am more literate than you. How the hell else would you move the needle and get it to stay there without re-positioning the clip? Huh, wise ass? Why dont you read this nice little article HERE. Wise ass.. sheesh.
  24. Castor 927 @ 32:1 or yamalube @ 32:1. Duh......the banshee ought to destroy the 400, even with Ronnie Milsap drivin the thing.
  25. Yep. I was speaking for everyone else here.
