  1. I would say you need to change your piolet. What size do you have in it right now?
  2. I think it was $40-50 last time i picked one up.
  3. To install an aftermarket axle, easy. Just takes some time taking spindles off and your axle nuts ( thats going to be the hardest part if they haven't been touched for awhile) it shouldn't take you more than an hour.
  4. I was running my needle in the 3rd clip. I also tryed the 4th clip and the 2nd clip just seems to run the best. Thanks for the help just didn't want to run her to lean.
  5. Get some reed spacers! They don't give you any power so you might as well put them to use.
  6. How do you go from no spark to having a fuel problem? Is there something i am missing?
  7. I tryed running 330-360;s and it would bog really bad until I got into the power band. I have he following mods: Ported Cylinders Ported reed cages K&N (no lid) bored .40 over head milled .30 plus 4 timing fmf fattys boysen reeds i am running 320's now and it is running good but just seems lean number wise to me? (i have 27.5 piolts and stock needles on the 2nd clip from the top)
  8. I am running 320 mains with 30 piolts, airsrews .75 out and 2nd clip from the top on needle. Wondering if you can tell me what would be the same jetting running a 35mm on a Trinity 2 into 1 setup. Just dont want to play the guessing game anymore!
  9. I have been running 320 mains for about a year now with no problems but i will wait till i get some money since i am broke and get 340-380 mains and 30 piolts. If it runs the best with my air srews all the way in does that mean i should jump up to the next piolts being 30?
  10. I put my needle from the middle clip down to the fourh and put my airsrews at .5 and they are 27.5 now with 320 mains and it seems to be running pretty good. I would have tryed the 340 mains but i lost one and the Yamaha dealer doesnt carey them that big. At first he thought i should be around a 280 main and couldnt believe that i was up that high in jetting. He said i was so rich that it was washing the plugs off with fuel. And then i showed him he was way off when i tried 300 mains and it was pretty lean. Im almost thinking of just taking the damn thing to a dyno.
  11. Well i went to the Yamaha shop today and he said he thought i was rich? So i went down to a 300 main and did a plug chop than he said i was a bit lean and to go back to 320 mains so i did. I ended up with a somewhat light ring around the bottom of the plug and it seemed to run good to me. So i guess im set. P.S. I did try the choke thing and it seemed to run worse with the choke out. Thanks
  12. Ok this is not on a Banshee but on my brothers lt 250. It was running like crap and he was complaning so i looked it over. I found out that the spark plug was about to fall out, so i tighten it back up. Later he took it out and it died. Took the jug off and it was all pitted and the rings were stuck together. Could this be because the spark plug was about to fall out?
  13. I'm at around 700ft elevation so im sure we are the same there. I have ran 340 mains and it seemed to run a bit cooler but not much faster.
  14. I have the following mods: Timing +6 FMF Fattys Milled Head .30 Boysen Reeds K&N (in the airbox) Stage 2 porting (more than mx but not drag port) .40 over pro-lites No airbox lid Stock reeds are ported a-little I'm currenlty running 320 mains and 32 pilots on the fourth maybe third clip. My bottom end has a sputter not just a banshee bog, my top end seems to run alright seems like it could be bette, and my air screws are 1 turn out. My plugs are light brown. Any info would be very helpful thanks alot.
