I went with the dmc 916. I can tell you one thing, I`am on week 7 wating for replacement parts from dmc

I have used vp red they say that is good for 2 strokes .

I have a hush kit I bought on ebay it doesnt have the spark arrestor I never got to try this out because I got a deal on a dmc916 system.

I have a set of dg pipes and silencers for sale they came on my 98 shee when I bought it. They are in very good shape the chrome is still nice.I went with some dmc 916 just trying here before they go on e bay.

Well the pilots did not come in yet but here is what I did so far. Put my new v force3 reeds in 280 mains clip in #4 down from blunt end still 25 pilots air 1 out. It was 50 out idled good tryed to drive it pulled to a point maybee 1/2 throttle then that was it to fat.Took air box lid off know it pulled good. This was in my yard so not a good test, I think I should lower the needle or buy a k&n lid filter any ideas? Thanks jeff

Make sure you did not get the slides in the wrong carb they are R&L, you should be able to see the cutaway from the air filter side of the carb. JM2C

Hi all glad I found this site it rocks,looking for advice for my 98 banshee that I just bought. I have only ridden this once and could tell it was running lean (my guess) . I live at sea level or maybe 50 ft above and it was 55 or 60 out on the ride. My banshee is a 98 with the tors removed,dg pipes and silencers pro flow adaptor with a k&n in the stock box with the lid on. After looking around on here and checking dg site(they said 1 size up) I`am lost on where to start .I pulled the carbs there all stock 25 pilot 5n7 needle 3rd clip 200main from what I have found on here I was thinking in the 280 range any ideas ? thanks Jeff N.H
