  1. Try a small time tire shop. Maybe one of those used tire places. We have them all over San Diego. They'd be happy to get the business. Do it pretty cheap I'd think.
  2. Is this your first quad? If so, you might not be revving the engine out enough through the gears. Maybe shifting too soon? Just a simple thought if you're new to it. 6th gear is rarely an option for me. 60% of the time I go for 6th, I need to immediately drop back down to 5th.
  3. Directly from Fullbore is not a bad way to go as far as price. Cheapest I found on my rears was Malcom Smith Racing
  4. Nice! Now get to work ont the yellow! Those wheels are killing me.
  5. 100 bills for new wheels and tires is pretty good. Especially to just test run on the street. I only check my knobbies when one looks low. My knobbies are rarely on. Either sitting in the garage or up and down the street. 10-15 psi should be good
  6. Wy would the regulator have been removed in the first place?
  7. If you go new, ModQuad makes a bitchen one! I got one for my Banshee. Lots of colors
  8. I love my Trail Techs. Pound for pound, best mod on my banshee's. I do a lot of night riding.
  9. Don't get me wrong, I like ground battles. I just hate to see 2 dudes laying there who cant get shit going. Gonzaga ruled CroCop on the ground. I realized pretty early, Gonzaga had a really good chance of winning. Let's not get philosophical on these fighters. The only reason UFC and MMA is what it is today is because of big knockouts. That's why guys fight in these things and why we watch.
  10. uh....if you DON'T want that, check out boxing. The only thing I remember from the CroCop fight was Gonzaga's foot. If the UFC wants to NOT stand their fighters up and let them lay on the ground for 4 1/2 minutes every round, the elbow is a great way to end the fight.
  11. I've always run Sand Tires Unlimited Sand Skate IIs.
  12. Dude. Elbows kick ass! I love the Muay Thai fighters. Elbows are fairly rare anyhow. Especially in stand up. I'd like to see head butts allowed again. That would break up all these slow paced, lay on the ground conflicts.
  13. I've run BR8ES since day 1. In 6 years I've never had an engine problem or fouled plug on my bikes. I'll stick with them.

We camped at Keyhole (just before Roadrunner). I was suprised it was empty as there were a lot more rigs on Gecko than I anticipated. It was 103 when we got out there. This was one of the hottest weekends this year. The canal kept us cool for a couple hours. Probably do another trip in 3-4 weeks.
  15. Looks like shit! No offense. If you want your Banshee to look like a Raptor, buy a Raptor. You wouldn't put F150 skins on a Silverado. It's freaking gay. Then again, look how many white guys are whiggers.

2 Buddies an did I did an overnight at Glamis this weekend. Got a few rides in on empty dunes. There were more rigs on Gecko than I expected. But we never saw another sould in the dunes and there were minimal tracks. My bike is the rebel seat one. Nothing special. The white plastics is a full on Lonestar frame/Roll Design & Elka bike. Stock engine but the way my buddy rides, you'd never know. We did some fast rides! The red bike is the cleanest bike you'll ever see. It's an 89 with a worked out engine. Not sure what kind of suspension but it's a pretty nice setup. camp Flagpole Beer break. No, I'm neither of these ugly mugs! On top of China Wall China Wall valley. Didn't see one track After sunset
  17. The show was pretty lame. It's nice too see Dunes on TV, but I just assume NO ONE knows about Glamis. Too many jackoffs out there already. Now theres going to be even more. They're also going to think it's cool to roost on people and burn pallets.
  18. I was really rootin for CroCop. Great fighter. Hope he doesn't quit the sport. he seemed pretty put out by it. Andre Arlovski is another fighter I really like but made a terrible showing last night. Rampage beat the fuck out of Liddell back in '03(i think).
  19. Money for graphics is pointless. If anything, save a bit more and buy Fullbores. Unless Your bike was built by Duncan, why would you have Duncan stickers all over your bike. You're just paying them to advertise.
  20. Ya. Sounds great, but you gotta tell people where.
  21. More reason to mind your Ps and Qs. Let the assholes and truck punks get all the tickets and they'll finally leave the dunes.
  22. My '02 has seen nothing but sand since day 1 and has had zero problems. I've cleaned the filter and changed the oil. That's it. Whoever gave you that info is smoking crack.
  23. You never want to let a 2 stroke motor run out of gas. It's the equivelant of running out of oil in your truck. I don't see why the single carb setup would be any different than 2.
  24. Just IMS. Depending on what terrain you ride, try without the heel guards. I've run without them for a few years now. Started with the stock pegs and eventually got the IMS. Feet stay firmly planted on those IMS! I just ride sand. Never had a problem. Just make sure you wear boots!
