  1. I went on Saturday. booooooring. RIS booth was the only thing worth looking at.
  2. Your whip should have come with hardware to mount. Stock bolts suck when you break your whip. I run the RIS quick release. Best on the market in my opinion.
  3. If I own a website and a bunch of guys from it get together and organize up the times and dates on my site, then go out and pig fuck the place, I'm going to hold myself responsible. How much blame would I allow myself? Not sure. After THE SECOND TIME that kind of thing happened, I'd start feeling really bad and pissed off. This is the 3rd year in a row now that this event has been organized on PS and made a disgrace of themselves and the sites name. At what point does PS take some blame and put the kaibosh on the scumbags?! Any thread about these "night drags" needs to be deleted. It's obvious PS has a real dirtball folowing when it comes to the Southern California members.
  4. Doin a Superman off a sweet jump Gratuitous middle finger shot
  5. Luckily there is always someone to clean up after scumags. yes, even though it's a week later, it's all trash from the "night drags". http://www.glamisdunes.com/invision/index....t&p=2419648
  6. It was 109 when we got there Friday. Saturday was partly cloudy. It stayed NICE for all of the morning. I dout it got over 85 until about noon. Once the sun came out, it popped up back to 100 or so. The nights, as usual, were perfect.
  7. Headed out Friday at noonish All of Glamis to ourselves
  8. ya. Those drags. Planet Sand is denying any responsibility. The event was organized on their site though. Most the actual racers weren't the proiblem (I would think) but their shithead friends and all the local scum it attracts made yet another mess of the Dunes.
  9. Good job Planet Sand and the rest of you scumbags! Yet another trash fest at the base of Olds. Go fuck yourselves.
  10. Trail Tech packages them with a spot and flood. It maximizes available light. *by the way, excellent purchase! Possibly the best mod on my bikes. Huge improvement at night.

  12. Word on the wire is that someone died at Dumont today. I'll be in Glamis 24-25th this month. Come out!
  13. I've never heard of anyone running tubes in a full sized quad.
  14. "main city"? Borrego might be closest but El Centro would be the closest "main city". I know it has some sand but it's few and far between. That picture could be hundreds of places all over the world. Drive the extra 50 minutes and go to Glamis or Gordons.
  15. That area of the world makes Glamis look like a fuckin city park! Not to mention they're all rich. I've actually seen more posts fro United Arab Emirates.
  16. JESUS CHRIST! Do we have to go through this everyday? Cut the motherfuckers! You know you want to. Don't listen to us.
  17. Kind of. During the summer, the sun is directly overhead making zero shadows. During the winter, the sun never peaks thus there are always some shadows.
  18. The canal comes right off the Colorado river. Goes directly to the fields. I wouldn't drink the stuff but we don't think twice about getting in. There are fish in it so that's a good sign.
  19. This is the raddest poll ever!
  20. Douglas Blue lables. No idea on the offset. If you ride sand, aluminum will get sandblasted and turn more of a brushed look no matter how much you polish. Same with PCd wheels. Any gloss they have will turn dull.
  21. Not sure on that question. As long as you have lights, you can ride all you want between sunset and sunrise. It gets light an hour or so before sunrise. The temp is awesome throughout the night. The whiteout from the sun makes the dunes unrideable before the heat ever becomes an issue. You can ride till about 11. After that, it's suicide. No shadows at all. You can't see tracks, ripples, whoops or where one ridge ends and the other begins.
  22. Did an overnighter on Friday. It was 113 when we got out there. Hung out in the canal for a few hours then got a few rides in. Went exploring through some of the trees and found a sweet ride. As usual, the morning ride was the best. Out of 15 or so bikes, I was teh only Banshee and the only 2 stroke. We are a dying breed for sure. I'll try and get more pictures next time. Hopefully end of July I'll be out again
  23. Becaus ethe front is 10x easier to swith, Id experiment with different front sprockets. I've run a dropped front tooth for several years. When I got my '06, I ran with the stock sprockets. I'm sold. I seem to get more out of each gear. Better for faster riding. My opinion.
  24. I've never heard of steel wheels for a quad. I would not get them
