  1. No offense, but any rail built outside Southern CA or AZ isn't gonna be top of the line. I live in El Cajon. A suburb of san Diego. Just in my city alone, there are like 8 different builders. It's getting rediculous. Glamis is becoming majority Long Travel Rails. Just in the past 5 years it has exploded. Rumor has it, everyone is taking money out of their Inflated home value to but these things. Average price is about 40-70k for a new ride. That's just average.
  2. ATV 3 sucks ass so bad! I have it and couldnt stand playing it for more than 10 minutes. ATV 2 is the best of the lot. The Trinity Banshee is the best. Great graphics too. ATV 1 is very old. Bikes are a bit cheesy but there is a Banshee. MX vs. ATV Unleashed is OK. No Banshees. 30 versions of the 450s. kinda lame. Lots of vehicles to choose from. Gets boring quick. MX Unleashed is all 2 wheelers but TONS of fun. Last Game Informer Magazine had a small article on a new offroad game. Can't recall the name but it sounded good.
  3. Also. No one really calls them "dune buggies" anymore. Unless it's like an old school VW. They're sand rails. Or sand cars Your question is too vague and broad to get a good answer. Are you looking for economy rail? top of the line? fastest? what? I'll assume you're from back east.
  4. Too bad. I threw away brand new '06 pipes and silencers.
  5. Those shockwears MUST come off! They look like giant tampons.
  6. yep! Oven vent screen is what I use.
  7. Stock pipes aren't doing any harm either. The way I see it, it is one more thing that doesn't have to be there. One less thing on my bike is one less thing to ever get in my way, break, fall off or be in any trouble shooting equation.
  8. Route it straight down, zip tie to lower part of frame. Let it be about 6-8" down off the frame to avaid any drips getting on the bike. Good to go. Check your fluid levels once in awhile. I've checked mine twice in 5 years. I ride during summer in Glamis. Never overheated or had problems.
  9. Get a big set of Channel Locks. No problem.
  10. ^^^^yup. 86 that filthy thing!
  11. Go back to Polish My Banshee.
  12. never heard of them
  13. What are you PCing? I 've used Powder1 twice. Unimpressed. East County Powdercoat appears to be the best in SD. They do offroad all day and will know what will be best. I tried some PC shop off of Olde Hwy 80 and the guy (barely spoke English) didn't know what an ATV was!
  14. Gotta Pay To Play, Baby! I bet it's fun.
  15. I don't know about that. When I first put on pipes on my first Banshee. I started it up a few times with stock jetting. It ran better than ever. It was actually the first tim eit ever started first kick! Some dumbshit I knew "did my jets" on my way out to Glamis. Thing ran all fucked up. Couldn't make it up any hills. Once the jets got dialed in by a real tech, the bike was fine.

I wasnt sure about my size on a lil 70 either. I'm 6'5" 240. Hauls me fine. We did a run after the last Regatta out to Lizard hill. One of the funnest rides all season! Just have to get creative on your lines. Gotta get a Honda. No Tri Zs
  17. Wins in the UGLY category! IRS wont sell in the sand. Rocks and trails maybe. They definitely should focus on one sport model until they get a bigger following. They're gonna go broke.
  18. Some guys use dish soap. A buddy used to use gasoline. I've always run K&N's so I can't help
  19. I cut the fenders on my ATC 70. It looks sweet and once again, they got in the way. Front fenders DO NOTHING for me. Why have them? When loading up my truck with gear, coolers and firewood, the fenders would get in the way. One more reason to rid myself of them. I have noticed a lot of guys trying to "be cool" and copy me!
  20. You could replace the hoses. Put some longer lines on. I did that with my '02. I know have a 2 into 1 and it stays very clean
  21. Mud? what a shame.
  22. Oh ya. It does add a lot more visibility in front of you. One less thing to get in the way of wrenching as well.
  23. At Glamis, you can go from one side to the other, double back a few of the bigger bowls, few hill stops and races and that's about a tank.
