Sorry. I FINALLY found a buyer yesterday for my rears.
  2. Both my banshees have the 35mm CV. I bolted them right on without touching the jetting. Both bikes have pipes (SST, T5) and V Force (2, 3). That's it. Bikes run great at Glamis. Oh ya. Get the CV WITHOUT the airbox.
  3. Dude. Its been in the 80's. Low 90's at most
  4. I wasted my money on one of those. Unless you ride mud, save yourself some money, trouble and better your bike by getting rid of the airbox and getting K&N pods.
  5. slow as in posting or for things to open up?
  6. I've never heard of anyone being able to "buil it" themselves. I think they charge like $600 for "the build". I never noticed how they were crated till I bought my '06 last year from Alba. I went around the back and was checking it out. I couldn't believe it. They are all put together except for the wheels and bars like someone already stated. I assume they need fluids as well. What a fuckin ripoff! I figured some guy was back there with instruction sheets and bunch of Banshee pieces. I bet it takes them 20 minutes to "build". $600 for that? I've heard of some guys getting the build fee taken off. Just play hardball with them.
  7. There is no original paint. the color on there is the color of the plastic. If you're not a pro or at least have pro equipment, it will not look good. If you do anything but drag in a clean enviroment, the paint will start to chip and peel and look like crap.
  8. Unless the angle is playing tricks on me, that's not an '02 tail light. The '02's have the full brake light.
  9. I have a set. Only ever ridden up and down my street for a few minutes. where are you and what are you looking to spend?
  10. a broken lever is the last thing you should be worrying about!
  11. not cheap. If you're looking for power gains, look elsewhere. I have the trinity 2 into 1 on both my Banshee's. Super simplistic and minimalizes the entire setup. That's why I got it, thats why I love it.
  12. I'm going next weekend. For a special work project. Just taking the 70s out. Weekend after, I think i'm goin out Friday-Saturady though
  13. don't crash
  14. I had mine done by Works
  15. My opinion: Fuckin awesome going black! Do the swinger black, screw blue, do everything black and get black plastics. Little chrome makes a nice contrast. If you insist on a second color, go with something other than blue. I've seen Blue/Black combos and they don't compliment each other. IN MY OPINION. Yellow, red or maybe silver would look a bit better. But all Black is the badass way to go.
  16. 17" swingarm? is that the actual overall length? Did you mean +17 centimeters?
  17. I just busted out my brand new Thor Quadrants. Rode just fine, very comfortable. Shifting took a few rides to get used to. My iold boots were Thor T-20s. Same scenario. Both were like $120 a pair. Expensive boots are for impressing people. Nothing more.
  18. - ya. sounds great! Lots easier than making a phone call and bolting NEW pegs up
  19. Jesus Christ! Are those for a truck or a rail?
  20. There are 2 people on this planet I will let ride my Banshee's. One is a friend who I KNOW will pay for repairs or damage, the other is my wife. Other people fuck shit up! PS. I NEVER ride other peoples bikes.
  21. this thread sucks.
  22. I believe IMS sells a "race" version of their pegs that sit lower. Of course, I only heard about them after buying their standard set.
  23. yep^^^^^^^^^^^ The narrow straight. Usually described with Drag pipes. Most run without any silencer so it's just the stinger at the end
  24. Sand is soft. At Glamis, I've hit 6th only a handful of times. Straight aways with a slight down grade or the end of a huge bowl, once again with a slight downgrade.
  25. I can see a collector willing to pay top dollar. Anyone looking to use it though, wouldn't spend more than 3k
