  1. You need to figure out TDC and BDC. Set the degree wheel to zero with a pointer of some sort mounted on the motor.
  2. Could definitely be no bueno
  3. Thing is, it's probably not worth it to chase it down. Epoxy would definitely let you shape the port, but at the expense of volume. Just have to think, is changing the shape gonna help enough to make up for reduced transfer volume?
  4. Could..... Be the clutch cable. More then likely something like the claw on the shift shaft, shift shaft eccentric adjustment, possibly even clutch basket and hub wear. I'd plan on just over hauling everything under the clutch cover. Not a big deal. Do it all once and never worry about it again.
  5. What's your budget for bottom end cases alone?
  6. 100% this! You should quit taking advice from whoever told ya it's the head gasket. Crank case and gearbox on two strokes are totally seperate.
  7. Think can explained it in one of his super cub dyno posts
  8. I always knew you were the one who we could count on to plan ahead!Back Page or Craig's list?
  9. It will require different needle and seat. Also, it's pretty typical of them to have goofy angle fuel inlets that may need changing. There was a write up long ago with all the little details. May be worth digging for it.
  10. What brand stator?
  11. Refer to my first post. If you're only this far and already can't research with out hand holding, you've got a long road.
  12. Think he's referring to the hard 90 they make in the transfers before the flow gets to the window and enters the cyl.
  13. Just write down all the changes and results. Weather and track conditions as well.
  14. Square space is a new web design that even offers the ability to run a store and perform transactions automatically. Very affordable and deecent quality. It has tutorials through out. Maybe try looking at other forum host websites. Vbullitin is a common one. Maybe tap talk....
  15. Holy Shit! Lotta options have died off lately so this is a great time to start up. These look pretty slick, and are priced to kill! Nice work RB. Whattya price a solid color with the grill cut out.
  16. ^ ? Drag guys typically like them as small as possible.
  17. Twister if you got cash, Hot Rods banshee cranks have proven them selves on 100+ hp motors time and time again.
  18. Weld the exterior for more meat
  19. These things are old. Nobody doing anything cool to them anymore...... Haha
  20. It's burning better up in the RPM's could be a few different reasons but if it sounds like it's firing ok and doesn't have a bad looking plug I wouldn't worry. Ever watch videos of drag bikes that just make a 20 foot cloud at the line but once it's wide open it's burning pretty clean.
  21. Brake clean and Dielectric grease on all connections Better filter set up with outer wear
  22. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  23. Oh like how the same folks posting vids of Jim tuning with a cigarette are in videos with no helmet getting very sketchy?
