  3. well from what ive read in dirt wheels mag. its not another green suzuki. its there oun bike entirely.- the idea of puttin a kx 500 motor sounds like a damn good idea to me

I sorta have the same problem- when its nice outside (round 70 to 80 deg.) shee'll start first kick EVERY time. but when its hot out, like it is now, i have to choke one of my carbs to get her goin. Ive got all the compression in the world, plugs are perfect(or damn close), and shee runs killer. Could i also have an electrical problem????

  7. when i got my 36mm. lectrons, i notice a HUGE improvment right away!!!!!!! i did loose a bit on bottom, but for me, the added top end pull was well worth the loss. I guess it all depends on how and where you ride

  9. I hear if you run race fuel when you dont have high enough compression, it can actually hurt your performance....correct me if im wrong.

  11. sound sweet dude.......mostly i like the hot cam mod.......those gotta make your shee hella fast, because my shee is damn fast and it does'nt have a cam at all!!!!!!!!! Oh yea, i think you forgot to mention the reed spacers and boost bottle mod dude. remember that you wont get all the power out of that hot cam unless you have one. :shoothead:
  12. i had a 01 660 that i put almost three grand into, and it was still slow. imo. so i sold it and bought a banshee the next day I also aggree that they are a very top heavy quad-infact while shootin some dunes about two years back, i found out the full extent of how poorly thay handle.... long story short, i wound up in intensive care for three days following that dunes trip. but chicks dig scars and hospital drugs are always the best!!!!!!!!!!
  13. alright, lets start from the begining: -what type of ridding do you do -where do you want the power to come on -do you plan on doing internal engine mods i.e.porting or stroking all of these things determine what type of pipe will fit your needs. for an all around great pipe- pc platnums or t-5's should do the trick
  14. I use k&N pods from Packard Ent. the big one is for my lectrons-and the other is for stockers P.S. maybe size does'nt matter, but it sure helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. on top of my pro designs, there is a port where a cross over tube could be used, but they have plugs covering them. do you guys think it would be wize to remove the plugs and add a cross over??? Like I said before, shee runs great now, but im open to any options and opinions. :shrug:
  16. my pro desgin intakes dont have a cross over-my shee freekin ripps it up
  17. got the same setup from f.a.s.t.- it goes -pressure plate -washer -bearing -spindle make sure to grease the hell out of the bearing as well as the ball and shaft if im wrong someone please correct me.
  18. Whats your compression at now? Is your shee ported or no. Also, whats your altitude(sp?) 20, or 21cc. domes are usually safe for pump gas.

  20. its probably a good idea to buy a lighter set of wheels-steel wheels on a stock shee can really slow ya down. and ya cant be havin that dougles blue or black lable wheels are'nt very spendy-but weigh a lot less than steel itp's just my .02 :thumb:
