  2. yeah i went to the local machine shop they set me up with a little larger bit than the supply #6 and assured me it would work..and it did flawlessly..and im waiting for another carb jeff..soo...
  3. u have to adjust your idle either at the thumb throttle or at the carb tops...the slides have a groove in them and the groove sits on top of hte idle screw...just not adjustable
  4. yeah i tryed it in my z400...i duct taped it to the rear axle and put it in fifth gear....

  6. whats the trick to tapping out the idle screw holes? ive ruined one set of carbs and two taps???? banghead

  12. no im always certain that choke tube is on...the damned thing wouldnt even start with out in on...but i just have lots of chit to deal with before i start the jetting bs...later
  13. yeah choke tube is in ...and i do have vforce 3's now...so ...vitos damned tap broke off in my shit!...im pissed so..bansheebrians supplying my with a replacement carb...so now i need to get a new tap...effers!

  17. well heres whats going on my dumbass jetted the bike with the slides backwards...taper towards the carbs... so im running k&n 310 main stock pilot no lid - stock box air/fuel screw at 3.5 turns out and the needle is set at 2nd down from blunt... .... now at that setup it wasnt running at all with slides in correct wouldnt start at all choke wouldnt do it or nothing...but pretty good when slides were backwards... now im set at same setup except the slides are in right and i turn the screws to 2.5 turns out...and she idles low with choke halfway out. and i took the filter off just to test it out...havent tryed it with all that on so..tommorow i guess..what shall i try tommorow.. ill have that carbs off because ive got the tors elim kit comin.....soo?? where to start to get it to run on its own so i can plugs to chop em? so ur saying go with bigger main and pilot? sorry for long post trying to get as much info as possible squezzed in once! later bhq
  18. ive turned my airscrews into 2.5 out and now itll run perfect choked so where do i need to go? mods in sig thanks guys
  19. it runs good when the cuts are forward towards the reeds...not at all when they are towards air box...
  20. well when the slides are in backwards it runs great. power seems to be there.. the idle doesnt adjust very well but it is a little higher than id like it.. it starts good ..doesnt putter..the throttle is very responsive... when the slides are in correct it just doesnt start...doesnt run. doesnt do nothing but put blisters on my right foot
  21. well right now im runnin K&N filter 1200 ft above sea level 310 main needle 2nd from blunt no lid and stock pilot i was running the bike with the slides backwards...its runs great like that but as soon as i turn em around to the right way she just dont run? what should i do?
  22. thats what i was thinking but i have no idea dude..is it going to hurt me to run it like that? i guess ill contact jeff at fast tommorow...anybody else concur.... im runnin a 310 main.. stock pilot and needle 2nd down from blunt end... ???? mods in sig
  23. they only go in one way dude..they are slotted..if i run em with the tapered edge towards the front it runs fine... but as soon as i put em in the correct way it wont start...
  24. yeah its keyed...it can only go in one way....i cant even get the effer to run with the tapered edge towards the airbox...
  25. man i swear that mine is opposite...the s.o.b. just wont run with those right! is it bad to run em backwards.?
