  1. 310 main, with the toomey needles 3rd clip from the top.
  2. looking at your mods, it looks like a stock clutch setup will work fine. heavier clutch springs shouldn't break a cable, the cable was probably old and needed replaced. it won't hurt anything other than your wrist running the heavier springs.
  3. Sent out a set of domes 2 day before receiving my check. Thanks, man.
  4. I'd pull the highest gear to where you can have solid 2nd gear starts if you are planning on racing. With your mods, the 13 tooth front was probably a good switch.
  5. Polish, I should have some dyno sheets to post this very soon on this very topic. I have 3 sets of domes for my 4mm and I'm gonna do a dyno run at each of the compressions. Give me a few days to get it here. I'm also gonna compare CPI/Shearers/T5's as well as stock/30pwk/35pwk carbs. I've wanted to see dyno runs like this for some time now. As soon as my builder gets some 10mm cubs from Calvin, I'll be rdy to go on this.
  6. to the original question....the gearing would depend quite a bit on what paddles you were running.
  7. probably 28pwk's and get them bored to 30mm
  8. I bought mine at dennis kirk. I forget why, but there was a reason. I just bought every size from 240 to 340. Seems like there's always someone looking for jets in the parking lot when you go riding.
  9. Yeah, i saw a bike in Florence, OR this summer with them. Didn't look too shabby, but I still like it when chrome just accents shit.
  10. if you don't mind shipping your stuff... redline racing, call cameron at 541.367.2453 he's the best guy i've ever delt with, have heard nothing but the same from anyone else.
  11. I've run T5's and love them and would recommend them. But, I came across this dyno sheet a few months ago and just found it again on my pc. I have no idea who put it out, but it looks like an independent dyno results sheet.
  12. I know a guy that runs T5's on his cub, and it actually runs very well. I'd go with CPI's though.
  13. too bad you don't have a vagina
  14. send pics of the a-arms to me at [email protected] did the spindles need reemed? if so, are they included? how bout the tie rods? brake lines?
  15. well, ducman's probably got 30HP on you, so running your stock swingarm on the sand wouldn't be a good formula for success. Hell, I had a 62HP ported stock stroke shee, and it was a handful with the stock swingarm with the 21's. I'm not sure where you're getting your power from, but honestly, my bike's a dog in 6th with 21's, and again, I got 30HP on you running the same gearing.
  16. sounds like a head gasket or o-ring depending on what type of head you have
  17. I can't stop looking at your sig. ^^^^^to the top
  18. Depends on your swingarm and where you ride. Stock stroke cub, I'd run a 4 over with some 21" 10 paddle extreme haulers. Your bike will basically have my same HP curve, as I'm running a 4mm ported bike, and that's what I run with 14-41 gearing.
  19. The stock clutch should be fine for 50HP bikes. At most you should only need to alternate some stiffer springs. My bike is 80HP and I ran a stock clutch with 3 toomey springs with no splippage. I think one of the guys above hit it right though. Gearing and tires make a huge difference in drag racing. To me it sounds like that is probably your culprit. I always had the hardest time with the starts. Those 450's hook up so nice, that they'd get me a couple of lengths at the start and I'd have to reel them in to beat them. Now, I just start in 2nd and stay in front the entire time.
  20. Can start here with a nice dyno sheet... http://www.planetsand.com/ubbthreads/showf.../0/fpart/1/vc/1 Ask any reputable builder, and they will all point you to Delta VForce reeds, unless you are running nitrous or something. I'm against them personally, because of their marketing gimmicks, and how it seems they setup usernames on forums and try to promote their products behind the guise of a normal end user for credibility, with testimonials like moving from 10th place in some series standings to 1st, just by installing their reeds. It really really gets to me.
  21. My bad, was just lookin out for the guy. Free bump ^^^^^^^^^^^

    Wanted: Cpi Pipes

I will probably have a set next week that have about 10 rides on them. No scratches or dents. I'll most likely be buying some shearer inframes. I'd take $450 shipped. Bike hasn't been ridden since this pic was taken a few weeks ago... http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b170/oda...alCamera002.jpg
  23. seems like I remember the name NOSJunke from somewhere.... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=46609
  24. That sounds pretty rich on the main. I would think at your elevation and still running the air box, you'd be in the 280 range, mebbe 290. If you are bogging in the 1/2 to 3/4 throttle area, may want to move the clip up one notch to drop the needle some to help lean this portion out. also, why are you running a BR9ES? most people i know run a B8ES
  25. Tentatively, Monday.....Sep 26
