  1. modquad sells them too the upp kit has the same size rollers if I remember right. the slider that goves over the pivot tube in my upp kit was defective. the nut spun inside the plastic, so i bought the modquad kit and eventually pulled my swingarm off and put it on.
  2. gimme pics of both motors please, very interested... [email protected]
  3. definitely get his domes and pistons if you are gonna use it with a 4mm crank. not sure I'd agree with you on the big bore pipes. my 421 cub runs small bore shearer inframes, and it's got the 68mm bore and 4mm more of stroke.
  4. I had the same problem once I swtiched over to my +4 swingarm. The caliper "floats" on the bracket, and it was stuck in a position that was offset from the rotor. I took a large flatblade screwdriver and pried on it slightly and the entire caliper shifted toward the mounting bracket and centered over the rotor. Give it a try.
  5. Does carbon dating prove the Earth is millions of years old? Author: Dr. Kent Hovind Whenever the worldview of evolution is questioned, this topic always comes up. Let me first explain how carbon dating works and then show you the assumptions it is based on. Radiation from the sun strikes the atmosphere of the earth all day long. This energy converts about 21 pounds of nitrogen into radioactive carbon 14. This radioactive carbon 14 slowly decays back into normal, stable nitrogen. Extensive laboratory testing has shown that about half of the C-14 molecules will decay in 5730 years. This is called the half-life. After another 5730 years half of the remaining C-14 will decay leaving only
  6. why are people hung up on fear of hell being the motivator to believe in God? do you not commit murder, because you are afraid of being caught and punished? I would hope not. I'm guessing that most people don't murder because they know it's not right. and America is brutal? by what standards? we have the most ridiculously coddled society on earth, where a simple case of halitosis could be cause for violating your neighbor's civil rights, worthy of punitive damages.
  7. just curious why you're selling your modquad one since the domes are interchangeable. all you need to do is buy some big bore domes i would think...
  8. So, explain to me the physics of the very beginning. It only leads to theories based on theories based on theories that can't explain the origin. That is why the term "Intelligent Design" was based. Because scientists couldn't explain the beginning.
  9. I completely disagree with you there. Money and faith are normally at the opposite of the spectrum with each other. Some of the most devout faithful people in this world are in poor countries (India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Mexico). They don't have all of the material distractions from their faith. I use to use the money thing as an excuse not to go to church either and ridiculed organized religion. For me, it was simply an excuse not to go. How many oil tycoons do you see offering their lives in suicide bombings against muslims?
  10. I won't mock you for your beliefs helldriver, you're certainly entitled to them. Many deaths are directly attributed to religion, I'll strongly agree with you there. There are very few things in this world worth fighting for. Love and religion are certainly in the mix there. Would you say that Marriages are evil too, since many are broken with divorce? These divorces lead to suicide, murder, psychological problems with children caught in the middle? Should we blame the institution of marriage, or actually hold the individuals accountable? Personally, I don't think the US is over in Iraq and Afganistan spreading Christianity. However, if you look at the motivation behind all of the senseless killing on the other side of the field, religion portrayed as the primary motivator. They call it a war against the Crusaders, that we are there to kill Muslims. As for Christianity's merit(s), are you open minded enough to research religion? Have you let the young Mormon kids in your home and given them a fair shake? Have you read anything from Crowley or studied Magick? I don't see how you think believing in God is weak minded myself. Is it easier for you to believe that a mass spontaneously formed itself millions of years ago, grew to a gigantic mass and exploded, causing all of the stars and galaxies? Then, magically, earth formed with water, and all of the required resources to sustain life, the seasons, the distance from the sun, etc etc? To me, that's not much to base my idealogy on. I'm not gonna spew Bible verses at you and tell you that you are destined for hell and all of that, or even tell you that you are wrong. But, I hope you give it more thought later down the road. I challenge you to read the book I listed in my first post with an open mind. It was written by an Agnostic journalist. As he writes his book, he begins to believe in God.
  11. Some people view the movie as a mockery of their religion. Did you see the muslim people when those cartoons were published in the European papers? There are a handful of things that I try to never mock, one of them is religion. And to answer your question, if there were no God, and I was wrong, then I'll have lived my life with less stress and worry than the average person, and hopefully have focused my life on important things. It would also suck, because I'd have nobody to blame about losing the f'n lottery every week.
  12. Those are all deep questions, especially for HQ. I use to live as you described. Live for now without regard to its purpose. I made really good money, had a hot girlfriend, a kid, lots of toys. But no matter how much money I had or the possessions I acquired, something was always lacking in my life. I guess I've always believed in God, but figured I'd live life on my own terms and come to my own rules about what was right or wrong, or what is realistic for me in terms of committment to him. That went on for several years, until the summer that Mars was so prominent in the sky a couple of years ago. I bought my kids one of those crappy telescopes, and we went outside to check out the stars and stuff. Then, of course, my 2 year old son just had to ask where all of those stars came from. When I told him that God made them, I felt rather awkward, because I knew it to be true, but failed to live my life in a way that gave him credit for it. The next week I was at church. Money is the root of all evil.......well, many atrocities committed in the world are over money and power. Not that I judge them personally, but look at what fame and money have done to people like Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears, once self-proclaimed prude virgins....now are famous almost entirely due to their sex appeal. I read somewhere about the bankruptcy rate for lottery winners, it was horrendous. The act of donating a good portion of your income is a way to remove the importance of money and not be such a slave to it. It's also a way to give thanks for all of the blessings that you do have. Hopefully, this doesn't come across as holier than thou. Trust me, I struggle with my own demons. I can't help it, I love the vagina and banshees far more than I should. One book that helped me along the way was "The Case for Faith" by Lee Strobel. Normally when I read, it's a magazine or messageboard. But, I couldn't put that book down.
  13. Hapy birthday, man.
  14. pics? willing to ship the bike?
  15. yeah, those are the grips. I run Tag X5 bars, because they're the only ones I could find with the right bend and height to go with my LSR stem.
  16. I agree with Jeff, the spider grips are the f'n bomb. Comfortable and plenty of grip, even when wet.
  17. For stock bikes (bolt-ons only), the FMF's, Pro Circuits, and Toomey's are all within a gnat's ass of each other. Toomey's are the preferred pipe though among the masses, myself included. The work well on a wide gamut of motors from stock, to after market cub cylinders. I don't hear of too many people stuffing pro circuits or fmf gnarly's on that type of motor very often.
  18. so, you're emphatically denying that you got me drunk to loosen my inhibitions, smoked a bowl while you tossed my salad in the 69 position, unbeknownst to me that your 2 girlfriends joined in the fun, and you're freaky ex watched from the window?
  19. my score improved rather nice over the last year brooke, did you see any improvement over last year? do I even need to ask?
  20. use to listen to O/A before the FCC shut them down for the Son of Sam stunt, and they were funnier than Stern in my opinion. But Stern captivates his audience better, almost making you feel like part of his crew in the studio. It was great to hear stories about Artie growing up or any of the trials that any of the staff went through in life. Stern didn't have to be hilarious to be entertaining, his show was just a better production.
  21. NYUK just called me and said his email was down and to just send them to me, Brooke. I'll make sure he gets them. Remember the cookie shot too.
  22. Do you offer a warranty or money back guarantee on your products if people are unsatisified with the quality? Just wondering, because this is a stand up guy that is very very unsatisfied with your work. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...topic=60355&hl=
  23. Happy Birthday, NYUK
