  1. Anybody know of any good Polaris performance shops I can contact?
  2. Cool, thanks for the info!
  3. Well, I paid a little more than I wanted a little sooner than I wanted but I got something that my buddies could have fun on as well...I think I got a hell of a deal considering the model year and such... 2002 Polaris Scrambler 400cc 2-stroke---$1700
  4. I'm running 153psi and +4 timing on 91 octane...been doing it for a year now.
  5. Good suggestions so far. I've been browsing ebay and such looking for any of the quads listed...
  6. Since I haven't been around too many quads besides Banshee's, I'm looking for your opinions. My GF is new to quads (as in, she's only rode mine twice, with me on it) and she's definately a "girly girl" rider...she is no adreneline junky. She is interested in getting into quads though, it's just that my Shee is WAY to fast and scares her when she gives it more throttle than she means to. I'd like to pick up a quad for her that is durable, 4 stroke, and has enough power to be able to drag her around at the dunes and such if need be. No racer, I don't want to buy a total dog either though...An auto trans (Polaris style) would be a plus, though it's not a must. I'm looking to spend 2k or less...I can't let her have a more expensive quad than me. Anybody have any suggestions?
  7. Thanks for the info guys, looks like I don't have anything to worry about.
  8. I was looking at the AMSOIL product line and noticed they had a synthetic premix that's made for ATV's and such that is designed to be mixed 100:1, it's about the same price as the 50:1 stuff so it's a steal if it's safe to run. I just can't bring myself to run it without hearing some feedback first though... Anybody run this stuff?
  9. I've never seen it...got any pics? I searched but came up with nothing...
  10. Thanks. 35 views and one person actually let me know their opinion...
  11. It's definately a hell of an improvement from when you got it. Only thing I'm not diggin' is the red arms/swinger/hubs. It just doesn't go with the rest of the blue/white theme...
  12. Oh, your PM inbox is full too...I can't send you a reply...
  13. My stock fender stickers where all tore up so I peeled them off tonight. The Shee looked better but I didn't like the rear fenders being so plain. I sketched out this flame job on fender real quick and then colored it in on the computer. The blue will be as close to "yamaha blue" as I can get it when I actually do the painting. What do you think? Good, bad, ugly?
  14. Still waiting to here back from you, thanks (PM sent as well).
  15. I'm going to be there the weekend of the 21st...
  16. Is that anywhere near the ocean front property in Arizona??? I've been lookin' into that!
  17. Thanks, that clears it up...I guess I was way off base
  18. I picked up some +2 +1 arms and was curious what the purpose of the +1 is...I searched for about 15 minutes and couldn't come up with anything. I'm going to guess it helps suspension geometry...tell me how wrong I am...thanks.
  19. SOLD! Get me the pics and your payment info (paypal or an address to send money) and I'll get payment sent out asap. Out of curiousity, are these the race version or the recreational version? Also, do I need new brakes lines or will the stockers reach? I see it's hit or miss with aftermarket arms. Thanks. [Edit] I see you have a stock Banshee swinger as well, what do you want $$$ to ship it with the arms? Got any pics of it? I assume it's not bent or anything...
  20. They are 595 plus shipping...WAY out of range.
  21. Nobody has anything to say about the ones I posted???
  22. Sounds about right, having such short rear tires is why it won't even run as fast as a stocker..
  23. How much do you want for them? Got any pics?
  24. copy/paste from my other thread: I can only afford to spend 450 or less but I don't want to get a POS that's going to break like the stockers did. I'd love to have the $$$ to fork out for some Quicksands but I can't afford it, nor do I think I'm "serious" enough of a rider to need them. I've searched about all of these and pretty much found contradictory info about most all of them. So far, I've found: FULLFLIGHT RACING heard good and bad about these LINK Pro Star/American Star heard good and bad about these LINK Pro Star/American Star Plus heard good and bad about these LINK Armadillo Rocky Mountain ATV sells these which makes me think they are good arms LINK WICKED PRODUCTS Man these are nice looking...I want them just for the color. LINK If you know of any others in or near my price range, I'm all ears. Which of these would you guys prefer if you were in my situation???
  25. I probably will weld them up for a temporary fix...unless I can find a good used +2 set ASAP. I'm looking at picking up some +2 arms, unfortunatly I only have about 450 or less to spend (I don't even have that but I don't have much of a choice). Please check out my +2 arms thread here: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...t=0#entry424802
