  1. no drilling involved... this is how the carbs come from the factory..... have you tried holding the throttle open at all while ya kick it over? did you just install the tors removal kit? did you unplug the tors brain? its located under the gas tank next to the coil.... also there is a wire running upto the clutch perch for the parking brake..... disconnect that as well I am pretty sure its the choke tube.... get back to me if that dont work....
  2. if you look at the carbs... the left one has the chock knob on it... look on the other side of the carb by the intake and you will see a port... its on the right side of the left carb and on the left side of the right carb.... you have to have a hose connecting these two ports together or the choke will not work and you will kick your guts out tryin to start it....
  3. what all do you have done to the engine? might be time for a lock up.... and I prefer the maxima mtl 80w in my play bike, and atf type f in my drag bike with the over ride trans.....
  4. I second the FAST clutch..... been beatin on one in an alky 4 mill cub for a couple years now and its still holdin strong
  5. is the tors system removed? did you make sure to install the choke tube between the carbs?
  6. what carbs? whats your jetting? did you use the toomey needles? are they new carbs?
  7. 1-2 turns is a good point to set the screw.... not really gonna cause a no start issue unless your pilot jet is way off though.... have you done a compression check? have you pulled the plugs and seen if they where wet? this would tell ya you are getting fuel into the cylinders... and have to visually checked for spark? need a bit more back ground... did the machine run before and now it wont? did you add or remove anything and now it wont start? etc......
  8. please look into becoming a site sponsor before trying to sell products on this site..... thanks
  9. whatcha lookin for trade wise jeff?
  10. you ever run bb shearers on a 421 cub? cause I have and they work great! they make the power a bit broader and make it so you dont have to be precise on your shift points........ bladesracing these would work just fine on your cub
  11. hit me up with the info as ya get it shayne... I am sure jr and I will be in! hopefully my shit dont blow up 3 weeks before the trip this go around.... we are working on gettin jrs 4 mill in a dune chassis this yr so he can actually ride
  12. lookin for a set of EGL needles for a set of 39 pwk carbs. Also lookin for a set of 10" rear rims Banshee bolt pattern. Let me know what ya got and how much.... thanks
  13. I have a set of 10x2 spindle mount wheels with tires on them right now, problem is they are really skinny and really short. I am looking for a front tire that is a bit wider and or taller so I can use the wheels dune racing, I am willing to buy out right, or trade the tires I have for the wider ones. let me know whatcha got and how much. thanks!
  14. I have 10x2 spindle mount wheels on my banshee spindles... nut worked just fine....
  15. does this include the fogger nossles and is there a bottle?
  16. 73 ro is a 22-11-8 on an 8x8 wheel and our 78 ro 14 staggerds are 24-12-10 on a 10x10 wheel. imo the 73 ro 14 extreams work on alot of track surfaces and they are easier to find than the staggerds.....
  17. have this same trans in my ten mill and it shifts like butter! cubshee has cut hundreds of over rides
  18. if its a heavy track I would probably go with the 73 ro 14 extreams...... the staggerd paddles seem to work better in the fluffy dry sand.....
  19. chariot makes a very nice quality piece! whats your elevation? that will play a big part in your compression
  20. if you look at the vent lines you can see the 2 extra vent hoses coming out by the carb cabs..... just another tell tail sign of air strikers.
  21. dude I put 4 years on a 4 mill hot rods crank in a alky 4 mill cub and never had an issue with it..... only thing ya should d is make sure who ever you buy it from goes over the pin welds before they ship the crank to ya..... hot rods welds are ok but can be made better.
