  1. I hear ya man.... I need a set myself....... let me know if ya find a hook up on some lol
  2. so after back and forth with the DNR over the permit for the 2011 Ice Track that Triple Force sets up and maintains, there is a verdict. We just had our meeting with the DNR. The DNR brought to our attention that it was not fishermen who had complained but infact that it was other snowmobilers. I just thought I needed to correct that. The DNR is willing to approve our permit with the following requirements in addition to past requirements: -We will need to have a total of 20 people working on the track each day. We need to have some stationed on the side of the track every 100 ft and any additional people working the track area. It can be anyone and can be rotated throughout the day -We need to erect an additional 100 ft of snowfencing along the sides of the track safety zone at the starting line. -We need to line the track safety zone with cones as before but also add caution tape to them with pvc pipes -There needs to be signs posted along sides of track as before The parking area behind the starting line must be coned off and also signs posted -We have to have an emergency response plan in place and also posted -Racing times are to be changed to 10am-5pm -A working tether is required on all machines with no exeptions (sounded like that would be something they will be checking -If outside of track area at anytime you must have a valid registration regarless of your tag to run on the track. This means all sleds without current registration can only run on the track. -Only single racers...no passengers what-so-ever. That means no taking your son/daughter/wife for a blast down the track -Track will now only be setup west of the rock wall 300 yrds from shore -They would also like us to have an emt or someone in that field on the track with their bag if needed. This is going to require many volunteers and some material donations. We will needing lots of 1" pvc pipe and caution tape and orange cones. I have a lot of cones but will need more. I have all the snow fencing. And...I think the biggest thing we will need is a good turnout of people to help work the track. If we don't have 20 people in vests working we can't race. They will be out there to make sure we are following the guidelines to the letter. The DNR seemed willing to try to work with us and make this possible. I have to submit map/track diagram to them in the morning and they will finish the permit processing. Also if the ice is not good in the location of the area they gave, we will not be able to set-up. We can only run the area allowed on the permit. If we all work together this can work for many years to come, if not a team effort this sport will die. John and Brigitte you can see more on this topic and their general rules at their website www.tripleforceracingteam.com

  7. you can use what ever shocks you want with them, but an fyi, these are light weight drag arms intended for drag racing and or hill shooting not trail riding.
