  1. Thanks. Is it on the domes somewhere saying just what cc domes they are?
  2. Still interested in a set of domes? They are for a NOSS cylinder head. Not for sure if they will interchange.Trying to find out.Not sure what they are worth.Finding that out too.I believe they are 21 cc.
  3. 3.77 That's movin on.
  4. Seems like I heard of some High 3's.Now I wasn't there, and would have to see it done. That's EXTREMELY fast for a 350.Normally,the faster 350's I've seen run mid 4's.
  5. I've tried both of the Toomeys you are talking about.Get the T-5's.I had some mods when I tried the T-6.No porting, but it did have K&N filters(no air box),Dyna ignition(I think),and a Trinity cylinder head.It pulled pretty good on bottom and mig-range.On top end,"there was nothing".I was extremely unhappy.Later got the T-5's and they did alot better with the mods I had. With my ported banshee now(with shearer in-frames)I've actually have been beat twice by banshees with T-5's.I think this boils down more to how the bikes were set-up at the tracks we were running. Not knocking them though. They were very fast.
  6. Yeah, stock is 14.Are you sure a 14 is not what's on it already.A 15 will probably be the most it can handle.Depends on what tires you're using. If you ever use paddles then You might need to go to either the 13 or 14 to pull 6th gear very well.Especially if you use haulers.Just my 2 cents.
  7. I use a primary drive chain on my banshee. No problems yet.
  8. Believe it or not.If you'll use mother's polish or something similar, the tie rod itself actually shines up really good. Not chrome but looks alot better than it did.
  9. Might want to see how much it will cost to have the sleeves installed.Might buy a set of used stock cylinders.Shouldn't be hard to find.Alot of people have switched to cubs.
  10. What's your problem? He's just wanting our opinion.
  11. The T-5 is the one to get when compared to the T-6 in my opinion. The T-5 is great with or without porting. They do sound good.Chrome is also really good too.
  12. Are you talking about Doniphin(that's not too far from the Mo./Ar.border line).I'm not too far from you then.
  13. I think bigger carbs would be a good idea (34's or 35's).
  14. Where exactly do you live at?I live in northeast Arkansas.Do you accept paypal?
  15. Yes,run them backward.Let us know how you do in the race.
  16. A friend of mine's banshee blew up a while back.It was from a small air leak.Check the boost bottle. His was a from a hair line crack on the boost bottle where the pipe rubbed up against it.He poured some water in it and it had a very, very small leak.
  17. Back when my cylinders were stock,I tried a Trinity head with 20cc domes.Did it make a BIG difference? No.If you want more power, get it ported by someone that knows what they are doing.I tried the bolt-on route with little success.Porting will really wake it up.Talk to the builder to make sure he knows what you want.I'd say a drag porting is out of the question.Porting actually seemed to make my banshee more rideable. The new cylinder head should help with the porting. It's more about the total package then just a single part normally.
  18. If you take it to the dirt drags, then you probably know which guys are the guys to beat. What do they use?Nearly evey track is different. The guys to beat may have figured out the best tire to use.I figure they are using the 4-snows or pro-wedge tires.I've never raced there so I personnally don't know.Probably should ask them what gearing seems to work the best too.Hope this helps.
  19. Do you accept paypal?
  20. I agree.Get the lightest wheel you can (.125).
  21. Yes,get the 8's.The smaller rim ='s more sidewall.I think this allows the tires to expand more (get taller) than a 9 will.Probably will want to use around 2 or 3 lbs. of air pressure. They are kinda of like a top fuel tire(NHRA).With the air pressure low enough, they will be fairly wide upon take off. They will get taller once you get going actually making for a taller gearing. This will help your top end.
  22. I've tried the bolt ons and there is a little horsepower gain to be found.Once you get it ported, that is a whole different story.A good dune port should increase torque and hp.Mine was actually easier to ride after it was ported(more torque). It was money well spent.A timing plate and cylinder head that will give you more compression will be a good idea.If you do buy the aftermarket cylinder head, make sure you talk to whoever is going to be doing the porting to see which domes they suggest.
  23. Porting helps ALOT.
  24. I agree that the +10 is probably too much swingarm.Tire selection is also extremely important too. What type of tracks are you racing on?
  25. What condition are the K&N filters in?How old are they?Pictures? They are for stock carbs?
