  3. Where did you get that Vortex CDi box from? I can't find it
  4. Hey guys I found one on D and T Dyno www.dtdyno.com it is just $99.95 + S&H Has anybody had any experience with this one?
  5. Thank you. All those you named are programable, but I am looking for something more "plug-and-play" kinda thing, just like the one from YAMAHA that allows to increase the RPM limit by 1000
  6. I am looking to buy a High Performance CDI box. My local dealer tried to get me one from YAMAHA, but they dont deliver those any more. Any ideas where I can get one that is as good as the one from Yamaha.
  7. Asuming everything else is stock try 220 and 27.5 on the pilot
  8. What carb and mods do you have? the pilot seems too big compared to the main, is the pilot 25 or 52??
  9. Does anybody know about drag race events near Tucson Az?
  10. SST"s they are better than the Fattys
  11. Sound more like an air leak.. check the boots between carbs and air box and between carbs and intakes. check the reeds, you may have a broken petal broken.
  12. Thank you guys, I think I'll stay with the stock ones since they are more reliable and no power is gained by changing to lighter pistons. You guys just saved me a bunch of mony that I will spend on V-force reeds rather than pistons. Thank you very much
  13. Did you notice any diference going from stock pistons to WISECO?
  14. Hey guys, I am looking to change the pistons on my shee, keeping the standard size. I have on mind, PROLITE from Wiseco, and I also found pistons from TRINITY that are supposed to be lighter than PROLITE. Anyone had any experience with these from TRINITY? Any other supported sugestions?
  15. What about getting low-mid range porting , and biger carbs, (32's) to help the top end?
  16. I agree with you but is also a machine that you can customize to do whatever you want with it. And I mean WHATEVER, isn't that the porpose of this site?
  17. Not necessarilly, as long as you don't generate more heat on the cylinder than the heat your cooling system can remove, you sould not have any problem. Now all the mods that make the flow more efficient (filter, intake, biger carbs, reeds, pipes, etc) don't encrease the heat, but increasing the cc definetlly will, since you are burning more gas.
  18. Yes, both. I want low end and top end, and yes I do a lot of dragging.
  19. Hey guys I need a little help here, If I go fot the +4 mil stroke, that will change the compression and the cc of my engine. If so, that will increase the heat generated on the engine, and therefore it may overheat during long periods of time riding at low speeds (on dunes and trails)
  20. Priorities: 1- It needs to be rideable on the low range so I can still ride slow on the dunes and trails 2- Run as fast as possible when drag racing. is that information enough?
  21. I live on Tucson Az and I am looking for a good portinge shop. Since it is a mod you can't revert I wold like to know what the shop will be doing so if you can help me with explaining me what to ask for when I go out shoping around for porting. If anybody knows a good webpage that explains the diferent features on porint a banshee engine would be great.
  22. Thank you guys I'll call this dude on kansas for the street bike clutch, seems like a pretty good price for a really good clutch.
  23. I am looking for a HD clutch kit (metal plates, friction plates and springs) and this is what I have quotes on: White Brothers $88 Barnett $86 Hinson $140 I am planning to add the next on the near future: V-Force reeds, Digital Ignition Performance Module and Prolite pistons (stk size) For the modification you see below and the ones I am planning to add, What do you recomend?
  24. You are running lean on the pilot circuit, have you tried teh 30's and 1.5 turns out?
  25. Also remember that if you change the gas-oil ratio you nedd to rejet since you have more gas on the mixture.
