Guys Since I started this forum I went for the cheap one an paid $100 for a CDI from D&T Dyno, it was was, I could't even get my shee to start, they sent me a new one, but it was as bad as the first one. The manufacturer for that one is MAGNUM. I'll never forget that F**N name. A month after I bougth the first CDI box I decided to spend $300 and get the one from DYNA I should get it today on the mail. Can wait to test it, I'll post the results.

  5. For what I have seen from Kenz, looks like they focus more on 4strokers, dont you think?
  6. I am about to port and bore the cylinders and mill the head. Doing this I need to change all the gaskets, the original ones from YAMAHA cost an arm and a leg, and the COMERIC ones are really cheap, like $40 for al the F*N bike... Has any of you guys have had or have heard of any bad experiences with these gaskets?

  10. I need to send my top end (head and cylinder) to the shop for porting, boring and head machining. Do I need to take the engine out of the bike? or can I take the top end of the bike with the engine on it? if I need to take the engine out, is there any special cautions I need to take? or is it woth to pay extra $300 to the shop so they do all the dirty job?
  11. Thank you, that is a lot easier than what a had on mind. So basically just cut all the cables that won't be used any more.
  12. I am installing new carbs and extended swing arm, so, I need to remove the TORS and the parking brake. What electrical changes do I need to make? what do I do with the wiring from the TORS and from the parking brake?
  13. What if a go to 380 and mid range porting? You guys think the stock carbs still do the job?
  14. I am planing to go from 350 to 370 using wiseco postons (+2mm) Therefore the engine may require biger carbs, but I dont want to go too bir (38mm) so I was thinking about 32 - 35mm. The next thing is, what brand? should I stay with Mikuni? i still have tons of jets, or should I go to Keihin? The usage of this banshee is primarily dunning and racing on oldsmobile hill.
  15. I am about to install the LS Dyna CDI box, and the installation manual says the the carburator needs rejetting. Does any body can give me a ballpark of how many sizes up I need to go on the mains and pilot jets? Right now I am running 360 mains and 30 pilots (see other mods below) Thank you guys
  16. Hey guys, I just got the dirt digger clutch kit, but I have no idea where to sart, and I don't want to pay $100+ for installation. The only thing I know I need to do is to drain the transmission oil. What's next?
  17. Where in california is 92692? I live in Phoenix. I about to get rid of my 2004 banshee because I was lloking for the new 06 SE Yellow, but I think this looks even better deal... and cheaper.
