  1. Two things. A. Is it a name band comp tester? I've seen the cheapy's be off BIG Time, I'm talking 30PSI or more... B. Did you test it hot or cold, throttle held wide open...and did you keep kicking until it no longer went up? Often it can take 20 to 30 kicks...not just 5 or 10. Oh, and what is your elevation...at or near sea level, that's rebuild time...if that compression is accurate.
  2. I'm thinking as a sponsor of PS, if Greg Whitaker is putting his name and company on it, it'll work... Not that I'd want to be one of the first that own it...LOL. But...this would be a great 1/8 or 1/4 mile tranny... It may have the occasional bug, but what drag bike doesn't in one way or another?
  3. I can take care of you on the tranny, let me know when you're ready. Also...WCR is going to debut a 1-6 dunable override tranny...that will probably be the hottest tranny for everyone.
  4. I haven't had that specific problem with my 4 or 10 mil on two different set of cases. However... I always get a sanding block and sand the deck to make sure it's flat. My 10 mil was fine, but my 4 mil had a nice dip in the center of it as a result of the media/sand blasting from Millenium. a minute on the sanding block fixed that...
  5. As well as extensive (read...expensive) porting to get them to run better than a cub, box stock they're par or slightly less. You're better off with the cub.
  6. It is ok if it loses less than 1PSI per minute....but no more than that. generally...if you have a leak...it'll leak right away like letting air out of the tires. When I pressurized my 4 mil, I used soapy water and the left side base gasket was blowin bubbles big time!!
  7. CFM went though a nasty divorce a while back. It caused a few issues that as far as I know, he resolved afterwards. NOW what is the new scoop??
  8. This is my friend at RB Porting, Bob...this kit is nice and cheap. I know the picture only shows one part of it...it is the WHOLE kit, I assure you. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Pre...sspagenameZWD1V
  9. Man I wish... It'll be a month or so before I get to ride. I put mine back together so a good friend of mine had a bike to take to Gilbert for the PS sand drags. That bike takes better vacations than I do...I swear...LOL.
  10. Unless you are very, VERY fat on the main, you normally won't foul a plug. You're spinning the motor at or near peak RPM when it needs the most fuel and oil...and it can burn it off.... When the pilot/air screw is real fat is normally when you foul the plug, in addition to the needle.
  11. 17cc domes? At sea level, that's a little more compression than I'm comfortable with....I'd go 19s, and ask said...have Cascade cut you a set for the stroker.
  12. I'd just use a dab on a thread or two... With washers and the nut, it shouldn't come loose. I just started using blue loctite on my intake bolts...after a few came loose.
  13. The kind left on the shelf or on the rack....in the store. :whistling:
  14. Not hating...but the things that have been covered a million times could be searched.. He'll find more info that way that starting this thread. Now...specific issues, etc., that's fine. But pipes, tires, oil, boost bottle, etc., they've been covered a gazillion times.
  15. Bro...welcome to the site. Please use the search. It has been covered a gazillion times. Just like a boot bottle and what kind of oil to run, or what builder to use....it's been covered...
  16. On paper, bolt on to bolt on the Raptor will win every time. When you start getting into porting is where the banshee shines. But no one races on paper. A Dyno has never gone down the track that I know of. So...race him and find out.
  17. As much as I hate to say it, yes. When firehead comes to town..it's what he wants...so, I have to research and find places for him to visit so he's happy. Different uh...strokes for different folks I guess.
  18. OK.. Two words for you... Tracking number. Good luck...
  19. Actually...I'm kinda fond of strippers....LOL.
  20. Yamabond 4, semi drying. I put it on my clutch cover...once. My buddy made me come over and remove the cover... when he had my engine on his bench. Maybe all that hot air over in Oregon removes some if it's bonding qualities... lol
  21. I'm sure you know this, but sudco.com, carbparts.com or cpw.com will have that for you...
  22. Ding Ding Ding...we have a wiener...I mean winner.
  23. Hey...I'll even sweeten the deal for you, free out of frame pipes if you can find a midget jockey... :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: See ya in a few hours homie! Bump....I still have one. Send another board member his yesterday, same day shipping w/ tracking via Fed Ex. It's sitting at work waiting for your dollar...holla...
  24. Just like a "kid" to think I'm threatening you on the Internet. I don't talk tough on a keyboard...that was a warning about your business practices. You're proving my point. two parts sold, two parts you had to refund after excuses and never actually shipping them. You're refunding their money...eventually, but wasting their time as well. Keep this thread going, it'll only keep bumping it to the top...and I promise no one will do business with you. I can have it pinned at the top for all to see if you'd like....
