  1. I also have a deal in progress for a stainless clutch cable and some exhaust clamps. They are overdue in my opinion. its been 11 working days since he said they would ship. he is in KY I am in IN. He hasnt responded to my last two PM's either. I am hoping I see them, or here from him soon. I dont think I can call BAD Seller yet. Hoping for the best, I will update.
  2. I have had BAJA'S, TOUGH , Nice finish, and relativly light. Best bang for your 350-400 bucks. I have Hipers now and the are better on all counts, but like any beadlock almost DOUBLE the dough.
  3. I am gonna try to be there that weekend. I usually go on a saturday so that would be the 4th. I am always lookin for new guys to ride with. What are you guys driving? You guys ride woods? or stick in the sand? if you want keep an eye out for my quad.
  4. Its gonna depend on what you are looking for also. DAVEMOORERACING.COM builds bad ass 350cc motors and specializes in alcohol set-ups. Also build chassis, swing arms and a-arms. Do you want to go big bore? Cheeta? CUB? Price range? : There are tons of options and builders out there.
  5. THANKS that is what i neededto know.
  6. NOPE. THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR A WHILE THOUGH. I BELEIVE THEY ARE CAST LIKE STOCKERS . THEY USED TO MAKE A SET LIKE THE VITO SUPER STOCKS ONLY CAST INSTEAD OF FORGED. I NEVER CAME ACROSS ANYONE THAT HAS RUN THEM. WHEN IT COMES TO PISTONS WEISCO FOR FORGED OR PRO X FOR CAST. I WOULD NOT TAKE THE CHANCE WITH ANYTHING ELSE. KEEP US INFORMED WEATHER YOU DIG THEM OR NOT
  7. I DID A SEARCH ON HERE AND FOUND THAT A CRAPTOR AXLE WILL FIT A BANSHEE ALL BE IT NARROWER, IN THAT CASE WILL A SPROCKET HUB AND THE DISC BRAKE HUB FROM A RAPTOR FIT A BANSHEE.??? IF IT WORKS OUT I CAN SAVE SIME DOUGH.
  8. SHOULD HAVE PUT THIS IN REPAIRS AND MODS---- SOMEBODY MUST KNOW
  9. I DID A SEARCH AND I SEE THAT ACCORDING TO A FEW PEOPLE ON HERE THE AXLE WILL INTERCHANGE SOOO... DOES THAT MEAN THE SPROCKET AND BRAKE HUB WILL ALSO. PLEASE DO NOT GUESS, IF IT FITS I CAN SAVE SOME DOUGH.
  10. ITS NOT PRETTY. But it will probably run just fine, after the bore job. If he is giving you a good deal...... You could clean it up fairly easy.
  11. If it does rip a little you can put a dab of form-a-gasket on it until you can get a new one.
  12. If you have the option stiffen up the compression. Changeing preload also changes ride height on most shocks, unless they are ZPS then it only changes ride height. If you cannot dial it in with the compression adjustment, you may need a heavier spring set. BTW bottoming out in extreme situations is pretty normal, what I mean is if you NEVER bottom out you never use ALL your travel. Which is what you pay for. you should only be bottoming in EXTREME situations and even then it should not cause a loss of control.
  13. If you are sure it is in neutral, then its probably just from vibration. put the chain on. hopefully it will go away. Clutch adjustment should have NOTHING to do with neutral.
  14. I used Golden Spectro for years...GOOD stuff. I switched to Castor 926 cause me and my bud share a barrel of fuel and its easier to use the same thing ...its also been good. Any of the oils mentioned are good. Pick ONE and stick with it. Its not a good idea to be switching all the time, Jetting could be effected and not all oils will mix with each other.~Later~
  15. I use two big 18" adjustable wrenches. putting them back on and keeping the prorer pressure on the bearings is not any fun either. IF you have the spare change a billet collar type of replacement is the NUTS... punn intended.
  16. I do mostly GNCC type riding. Fast Tight Trails. I went with +2+1 to get the adjustibility and 4/1 offset wheels so its not Too wide. Now I am concerned about tearing up the lower arms. The skids on my stock set up saved my ass a few times, and a couple extra pounds is worth the piece of mind.IMO
  17. I was wondering the exact same thing,I havent been able to find any skids for +2+1 arms either.
  18. The size of the dome will NOT effect the fuel milage at all.

  20. Was the second day you rode it MUCH colder? If it was you could bee real LEAN. Might explain overheating also ( radiator dumping coolant on hot pipes)
  21. Chewed SKOAL LONGCUT for years Straight, Mint, and Mint with a shot of Rumplemintz in it, then you throw it in the freezer or cooler for a few minutes. I have been off it for around 8 years now I cant even stand the smell.
  22. What they said!!!!
  23. Those are verry cool. However I like ALOT of guys on here have been riding a LONG time, SO I already have an Adjustable DENTON. Kind of hard to part with 5 bills when I already own one that works. I hope 5 guys get toghether and get this done because the Precision Damper is the SHIT. And when mine pukes It would be nice if its available. By the way you should talk price with your contact because my buddy got his on one of the GROUP BUYS that a guy on YFZ central puts together. I Beleive 10 guys bought them and saved around 50 bucks each. Same guy also had a deal with HIPER WHEELS we got complete sets front and rear for 650.00. Best of luck.
  24. I have been running ATF for a few years now and have had ZERO problems. This idiot that said Soap wight have heard about Trans Fluid having DETERGENTS in it, and being the MORON he is, he just figured they were the same thing. They are not. Detergents reduce buildup of broken down oil depositing on the plates and fibers causing slippage and then wear. Just like in an automatic tranny in a car( wet clutch)
  25. Hey JTQuad, That is pretty cool. How did you make the mounts for the skis? Are they just modified banshee spindles with a post welded on or something else?
