  1. I don't take it personally no worries. I actually am going to pay to become a premium member I've just been lazy about it, I still have all intentions to do so though. Aside from that, I know that this information is all over the place but that is exactly why I made the video... so it's NOT all over the place. It's in ONE place. AND to top it off it's being done in "real time" on video for those people who are visual learners and get confused with the 10 different techniques that they get in paragraph form on the forum. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love this forum and spend almost every day on it. It has been invaluable and will continue to be but I figured I would spend the time and energy to create something that might really help a lot of people out and apparently it has already. I put 3 months of build time and about 3 months of video editing into it, not even sure how many hours it came out to be but I would imagine well over 100. I'm not just flat out trying to make money on this deal, as a matter of fact I'm really not making much when you add up, shipping, packing envelope, printer ink, printable DVD's, jewel cases and printable inserts, and the gas to and from the post office just for even 1 disc here and 1 disc there. I'm just providing a helping hand at this point and covering some costs. If someone wants to donate for a disc I'll send them one, if not then the HQ will still provide a huge wealth of info. Thanks for the comments. Tate
  2. I'll find out today and let you know tomorrow... sorry for the delay..
  3. I haven't but I'll sure check and see what it costs. I know I checked on shipping to Germany and it was only about $3.00 so might not be too bad to Aus. I have to mail another one out tomorrow so I'll ask while I'm there.
  4. No problem man, those two mods you are trying to do are super simple you'll have no problem with them.
  5. My wife's banshee runs like a champ at 90psi and I'm at 5280 ft. and ride at about 8900 ft. just fine. I'm still going to rebuild this winter but for this summer it's been running really strong!
  6. Thanks man much appreciated...! Tate
  7. you beat me to it...
  8. I know there are some rust inhibiting products out there. You can probably find something decent at an auto parts place. Aside from actually using a specialty product or painting/coating the surface you'll have to continue to keep them nice manually. If you are sure to clean them really good and polish them on a semi regular basis and always dry them well you should be ok for a pretty long time. But to answer your question, polishing them will help and just remember not to let water just sit on them during storage or extended time and you should be ok. Like I said before though, sand paper will scratch it, if you take your time and use some steel wool and elbow grease you'll be better off.
  9. It will take the rust off yeah. It will probably scratch it too and if you don't coat it with something you're just inviting rust back again.
  10. What up man? I'm pretty sure it's course...
  11. No problem guys thank you for the comments and the donations!!
  12. Does someone want to Sticky this for me so it doesn't get lost and people can find it? I PM'ed Lee but he must be busy... any other moderators available?
  13. Yeah I have and I might still do that but they are pretty big files and honestly the quality and the experience is worth watching on a TV rather than a PC unless of course you have a big widescreen monitor... we'll see...
  14. Thanks man I got it. I'm going to the PO today to get some discs out. Tate
  15. Yeah just briefly. I don't show all the steps and techniques or anything just a glimpse into how it looks going on. A lot of people are very curious about what powder coating even is in the first place. Maybe I should do a video on that...? Hmmm...
  16. LOL thanks man!! Much appreciated!
  17. Uhhhh yeah it has something to do with boobs... Hehehehe but NOPE not a trailer... that's my best selling feature and what I'm most proud of!! Gonna have to get the vid to see it...
  18. Alright everyone the video is finally ready for distribution!!! I spent over 6 months putting this whole thing together so I hope you find it useful. I
  19. Just another quick update. I was hoping to have it all ready to offer up yesterday. I burned a copy and then found some other errors so I'm fixing them today so I promise I'll have it ready for you guys in the next day or two!! Later and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!! Tate
  20. Thanks guys!! Yeah I have it all broken out by chapter but now I just need to figure out how to have "Play Full Movie" button also. I'll figure it out soon though.
  21. Ahh yeah good catch! I caught it on the actual video earlier today but I'll just leave it misspelled on the trailer...LOL
  22. Hey like we were talking though you might just go ahead and do it anyway. Not that I'm trying trying to kill my own business but there are lots of different ways and techniques to working on these machines so if you feel like doing it go for it. You might have some good techniques or catch some things I missed. You will still be helping the people who don't want to spend a few bucks on my vid...
  23. Yeah I agree and I'm one of those people who would rather get things free but I think that once a few people see the video and realize it's worth they will post their oppinions. I'm sure I'll get some who don't like it and some who love it. I know for me, if I were a newbie I think even though I prefer the free info, I would probably still buy it because I like to see things like this being done rather than to try to interpret what someone is saying. I know when I first started powder coating I looked high and low for a video that would show me the proper technique rather than written words. As a matter of fact I would still buy one after 4 years of Powder coating just to be sure I'm doing everything right. Either way I love helping people out and hope that this video lends a good helping hand to some people. Thanks Tate
